Cannot recommend Expedition and Pete enough!! After we reached the difficult decision to part with our VW T5, Pete responded to our tentative query on Facebook offering to help us sell at the price we needed to clear our finance package. They sorted out the little things on the van that made it perfect again and sold it for us in record time, clearing our finance and taking a huge weight off our minds. All in all, Pete and his colleagues at Expedition made a difficult decision that much easier by taking all of the hassle out of our decision to sell. I can honestly say that if we were ever in a position to buy another camper, we will be straight back to Expedition after the amazing customer service they have shown us!! Thank you guys!

I want to share my experience of trying to buy a van with expedition camper.I contacted and spoke with the owner explaining my financial situation,deposit, px and finance. No problems he said and he will look into it.At this point I asked about the van being sold and he assured me that it need a few bits doing in the garage and therefore wouldn't sell it. He also offered to do a walk round video with commentry highlighting the good and negative issues.Over the next days we messaged re my car details and valuation.I gave him a few days to get back to me and when I didn't hear anything from him,I messaged him.At this point he told me the van had sold.I politely stated my disappointment and frustration at the situation and service I received.I also reminded him of his agreement to not sell the van, he said that he didn't know his colleague had already agreed a deal and that he didn't tell me as he didn't think the person would go through with the funding.At no point did he tell or suggest anyone else was interested and his response was to say that they have a quick turn over and that he will find a similar van.This wasn't the service I was expecting from a reputable company (part of the camperking gp).I am disappointed that he couldn't he contact me, keep me informed or apologies.If I could no stars I would.To be fair open and honest.UpdateI have had a conversation with the owner this morning and thank him for his sincere apology and with hindsight this wouldn't have happened. We both hope for a positive outcome and I will reflect this in any further reviews.I have also sent a copy of my update to the owner.

Came in today to have a look at some amazing campers, couldn’t find anything that fitted my requirements however Ben and the excellent team really pulled together to find the camper for me. Would highly recommend to anyone!!

So glad that we went to Expedition Campers as the quality and attention to detail in our van is superb. The process of buying the van was made very easy by Ben, who listened to our requirements and had an excellent depth of knowledge.But…. we had a problem, and this is where Expedition Campers earn the highest praise for customer service. A couple of days after we got the van the leisure battery failed. I dropped Ben a message at 7.30pm on a Friday and he answered immediately, taking an hour out of his evening to sort the issue. Initially a temporary fix to allow us to go away at the weekend, followed by a thorough investigation when time suited me, resulting in the problem being fixed.Throughout the whole process communication has been outstanding, I could not recommend them highly enough.

Superb, friendly service from start to finnish from Pete & others at Expedition Campers. All the staff were very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. They made the purchase of our first van simple and straightforward. Would definitely recommend!!!!

Picked up our freshly converted campervan this evening from Ben at Expedition. Everything was explained to us in detail and the van looked amazing. Can’t wait to start some new adventures in it!

Like most of the other reviews I can’t recommend Pete & Ben and Expedition Campers highly enough.Having booked a T6 Camper Van independently at the end of September 20, for a long weekend, a friend recommended Expedition Campers as a starting point if we had any interest in buying one. The day before going away, I phoned Expedition Campers and arranged to view a couple of vehicles in the midst of the pandemic. It was the first time they had had any new builds available.Pete gave us a great understanding of the vehicles and the Camper King quality, resulting in us really thinking hard about buying one, there & then.After 24 hours and in the hire Camper, I rang Pete to enquire - sorry both the new ones are sold and the 3rd a new conversion on 2nd hand T6 was being viewed later. I was even offered the option of placing a deposit and the viewing would be cancelled - as we’d shown an interest in that particular vehicle.12 hours later - you snooze, you lose! All sold - no options as I just wasn’t brave enough to put down a non returnable deposit.Within days Pete found another, this time a T6 DSG, likely to become available. No hesitation this time - we went for it, subject to inspection.‘Boris’ was delivered by Ben on the last day before the full lockdown in November - crazy times. From thereon in, we had a few problems, all of which were sorted by Ben without any issues whatsoever. This is where Expedition Campers and their integrity shine! Ben’s knowledge of the vans and the conversion saw off VW with an electrical issue and then a starting issue. Both fully resolved by VW (Cordwallis) exceptionally well - once given a firm steer. This included Ben willing to take the cost if the issue was down to the conversion - it wasn’t.All in all, any thoughts of buying a Camper Van, I’d highly recommend Expedition Campers as a starting point and hopefully you’ll not need to look any further.Exceptional customer service by people who know their product.Now finally making use of it some months later - due to obvious reasons.
