More than a pudding lab...Quite a delicious lunch experience. In addition to the exquisite patisserie items, they had savoury filled croissants and some croque monsieurs.Overall, friendly and welcoming service, and delicious food. Not the cheapest, but the quality is there.

Best afternoon tea ever!This was nothing like a standard afternoon tea as there was not a single piece boring sandwich or scone in sight. Every item was beautiful, unique and tasted absolutely delicious! The crème brûlée macaron was my favourite! The shop is very small and you have to preorder if you want the afternoon tea (you can take away or eat in the shop). It’s £25pp which I think is very reasonable given the high quality of the food. My 2 young kids shared one portion, and the staff kindly put in extra pieces so they didn’t have to fight, which was so lovely and thoughtful of them. All the staff were friendly and polite, making the whole experience even more special :)

Wonderfully crafted cakes and pastries which are almost too beautiful to eat (but somehow I forced myself :) Particularly lovely was the mixed berry tart, which was our favourite with the lemon tart coming a close second. The cakes are clearly prepared with care, skill and attention to detail - we did not try any savoury items but they also looked delicious. The coffee was very good and the service also friendly and excellent. There is also an afternoon tea available where you can try a selection of savouries and cakes but that needs to be pre-booked. We cannot go to Boston Spa without visiting the Pudding Lab now :)

Great little coffee shop, we had the Pesto croque monsieur which was divine. The lemon tart to follow was very tasty. Cakes certainly seem to fly off the shelf here.Would definitely recommend

We came on the opening week of this lovely shop! They have a beautiful array of patisserie and chocolates! We chosen the pistachio & passion fruit macaron and a raspberry eclair. Both were so delicious that we could have eaten another! The coffees were fresh too! There are about 3 tables and some bar stools for sit in. We will be coming back to try the macarons! They also have savoury croissants plus overnight oats and granola! A great addition to Boston Spa!!

Ordered a Take away afternoon tea for 2 people . It was all ready for me to collect - excellent value and the sandwiches and cakes were amazing. This is definitely the best place locally for afternoon tea - you can also have afternoon tea in the shop as well .

A wonderful place with the most delicious savouries and cakes all handmade.We shared a mozzarella, pesto and tomato croque Monsieur and the owner kindly plated it on 2 plates with a tasty dressed salad and crisps. Hubby said the blackberry pistachio cake was amazing. Shame we are not local, well not yet anyway!
