I am just looking for garages as I'm having an issue with my clutch, and upon seeing this garage recommended my blood began to boil. Let's just say I will never bring my car to this garage again.I have used this garage twice. The first time, I was having issues with my car accelerating. I took the car here as it is the closest garage to my home address. I was astounded when the repair cost came in at nearly £900 for a car that was less than 5 years old. I needed a replacement coil pack and they said I had an issue with my brake pads (among other issues I do not remember as I refused due to having to spent out nearly a grand already). I paid for this service as I was not the most experienced with car repairs. Many people I spoke to felt this was unwise and that the work was ridiculously overpriced.The second time I dealt with this garage I was quoted nearly £500 to replace two tyres. This was when I knew that I was being ripped off. I eventually had three tyres replaced at a different garage for less that £250. When I told the mechanics at the second garage how much I had been quoted by Autoworks he could not believe it. When I explained about the work I had done when I can issues accelerating he told me that his impression was that this work was grossly overpriced too. To quote, this mechanic said the garage must have thought I had the work mug" stamped across my forehead. And when they read this review

Each time I have used the garage they have been nothing but extremely helpful. Let’s face it, taking your car to a mechanics garage is probably going to take you out of your comfort zone. The staff are all polite and you are spoken to with respect a courteously. Obviously I’m a guy but to all the ladies reading this review then you’ll feel very comfortable speaking to the knowledgeable and polite staff here.Can’t recommend highly enough. Definitely not a rip off place like so many others.

Avoid. My daughter took her car for an aircon recharge. Advert in the local magazine special £50. She got there and said it needed a test and a complete refill. £35 for the test and wanted £85 for the recharge. Formula 1 in Eastwood price matched their advert and did it all for £50. And they say support local garages. Was it because she's a woman on her own. You make your own mind up!

I did there my ac re gas. Its very rare one which R744 MERCEDES S CLASS.good job but was expensive ( £300 ).

Been using Autoworks to maintain my business van and car and would just like to say that these guys are so thorough with the work they carry out. Nothing is too much trouble and they always keep you in the loop of the costs and any issues that arise so there are no nasty surprises. Great value for money and a very dedicated team. Thanks to all at Autoworks excellent job as always.

Recommended by a friend, they resolved an issue with my Santa Fe aircon that no-one else could sort out. Kept in touch and explained what they were doing. Also they replaced a light bulb at no labour charge. Small detail but shows that have a good attitude. Will use them again.
