Please may I ask anyone reading these posts to ignore the one (and unsurprisingly only!) negative review posted a few months back by Mrs Crowther... We were the actual customers of Oxfordshire Tree Services, and, as the people who contracted, monitored and paid John and his team for the works carried out, have nothing but praise for them. What’s the expression? “the man who pays the piper”..;-?John and team gave a highly professional service from start to finish. We took quotes from a number of potential suppliers and cannot honestly remember if Oxfordshire Tree Services were the most competitive, but John was certainly the most professional. He was able to advise, tree by tree, species by species what work was required and priced accordingly. The work was carried out very efficiently and those woods that I had requested to be left on site for my log fire were cut and neatly stacked. Far better than I had either specified or expected. Mrs Crowther is a 3 doors-down neighbour - with no adjacent wall or garden - who took it upon herself to interfere with the team, telling them what to do from her window, later trespassing onto our land and shouting orders at them. It should be noted that the two neighbours potentially affected by the work were both very happy with the work, especially the removal of the big dead tree that was pushing against the boundary wall therefore had to be removed very carefully -hence not in the obvious/ straightforward way referred to in said post. Anyhow, apologies to Oxfordshire Tree Services for having been caught in an inappropriate neighbourly spat - which again, you dealt with very calmly and professionally.We would strongly recommend Oxfordshire Tree Services and will most certainly have them back again as and when the need arises.Duncan and Christine

It was a pleasure, no messing around one visit for a good price to remove a tree that was overhanging my roof. Arranged to fit me in as a filler, only one day later they came took down the tree and cleared all foliage, very helpful and left my drive cleaner than it was when they arrived.

Oxfordshire Tree Surgeons removed some small trees and shrubs from our garden. They were very quick with the removals and did a great job at cleaning up afterwards. Very professional and highly recommended.

John recently came and removed the conifers in my back garden.He arrived on time and did a first class job,he was professional and polite and left the garden all cleared and very tidy.I would have no hesitation in recommending Oxford Tree Services to anyone.Thank you John

John trimmed our large cotoneaster hedge. He kept us up to date on his eta and did a fantastic job both of the cutting and the tidying up. His near silent battery powered hedge trimmer was a bonus too. No annoying petrol engine screaming away. Thanks John

We booked Oxfordshire Tree services into fell a very large horse chestnut the was very close to our new house. I was impressed how tidy they left the site, all saw dust, and there was a lot of it, was hoovered up. They even offered to clear the saw dust off of our skylight windows.We have a green house under the tree. After safe removal of all the branches, while chopping the trunk down in sections a chunk rolled along the ground and into the green house resulting in a smashed pane. They guys pointed out what had happened, John appeared a few days later with a new pane of glass and fixed it, he also replaced a pane of glass elsewhere on the greenhouse that had been smashed months before by my wife all though she's blaming squirrels.The quote they provided was also good value.

Absolutely first class. Quick responses, reliable and v pleasant. Did an amazing and very quick job felling a tree and digging out and sawing off stumps. Other tree surgeons who quoted seemed to think it was all very difficult but they did it no problem, and cleared up afterwards and took it all out with them through the house. Thoroughly recommended.

We would high recommend Oxfordshire tree services and have done so already. They do as they say, great service and nice guys. We had around 7 large trees removed and a few smaller ones. Excellent service, easy to deal with and definitely 5 *!

Highly recommend John at Oxfordshire Tree Services. He did a complete overhaul of our back garden, he did our neighbours & our other neighbour was so impressed, they’ve asked for his details too. He completed the work whilst we were out working. Exceptionally tidy worker & he even went around to our neighbours to clear any debris that had gone into their garden.He took out three very large trees, removed several overgrown shrubs / climbers & did a beautiful job trimming a very large tree and overgrown bush.Fantastic service!
