Riverside Launderette

First of all: You need coins to pay here what is kind of unhandy. BUT the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. We were able to change a note to coins and so it wasn´t a problem at all.The whole Launderette also had kind of a familiar ambience what I really appreciated.

Cost £8 for a wash. The washer i used left my clothes dripping wet as id didn't spin correctly. The lady in the shop agreed ther was a problem. Her only solution was to pay another £8 in a different washer.This kind of thing is totally unacceptable. I live in my camper and use launderettes all the time. No excuse!

Lovely owner, we stopped in this morning to wash our clothes, in desperation on a road trip, so helpful and informative , washing machines were clean and big enough for 2-3 loads in one, recommend this facility to anyone .

Such a lovely facility with very helpful staff! Finding self service laundry is not easy in this area so this was a life saver! 100% recommend if you need a quick place to get your clothes washed.

Very convenient. Open 8am to 9pm. Open Sunday AM. No change machine. Doesn't accept all coins. (New pounds but not old.) Bring powder soap -- machine took money but didn't dispense the soap.

Could really do with some card machines. Nobody carries dozens of £1 coins these days.Electrolux machine said it'd take 40 mins. I came back after 40 mins and it said 1 minute left.I then had to wait another 30 minutes whilst it told me I only had one minute left the whole time. And that's a guesstimate itl finish soon. I'm sat writing this review about how long it's taken in an unhappy keyboard warrior rage wondering when I'll ever leave this village? Will I ever leave this village? Will I see my family again? Will I feel the breeze on my face, the smell of fine perfume, the taste of a well earnt beer after a long day's work? Or will I forever be in this launderette, watching the machine spin, waiting..waiting...waiting. what will expire first? My clothing? The machine itself? The sun going supernova? I guess only time will tell. If you see a skeleton in the corner when you visit. The machine won. And yet still...I sit hopefully thinking that this will be the last minute of the one minute....maybe it will? Either way I just typed out this entire post and it's still not finished....good day to you all. Be brave, be safe, hold your loved ones closely and always be kind.
