I received job offers quite quickly and I was also able to negotiate my current role, leaving me with more options than I could have imagined before working with City CV. Update: City CV contacted me after this review, and offered to re-write my CV, which was very good of them. I have that now and will see if it’s any more successful than the last. I’ll update again in a few weeks with results…I’m undecided, so 3 stars. They seem very professional and I’m sure they must have lots of satisfied customers. But it didn’t make the difference I hoped in my case.After numerous applications where I didn’t get past the ATS, I got my last contract through my ‘old’ CV.Similarly, the only feedback I’ve had on my ‘new’ LinkedIn profile is that it’s over-long and a bit woolly. So I’m reverting, with a lesson learned.I wouldn’t say don’t do it - just think carefully if it’s right for you.
