Went into this pub as on holiday and the two other pubs we went into didn't serve food.The waitress was very friendly and delivered our drinks very fast. We ordered our food and didn't have long to wait.The food was delicious and went down a treat. Well done the Duke Of York. Your great !!

What a lovely, welcoming, friendly pub. We had gone for our dinner and were met with a warm welcome as soon as we entered. The food was delicious too and there was a lovely atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Thank you.

A lovely looking pub that backs it up with quality and choice.We had the tapas which was great value for money and delicious (breaded camembert, chorizo, katsu chicken, garlic mushrooms were our choices) - there's a cracking selection of drinks and the service was warm and friendly.

We stopped by here for a bit to eat, great menu.We opted for the tapas menu, the choices were great, we had goat cheese and chorizo, pank crumbed calamari, chicken strips triple cooked chunky chips and a few others. All very nice indeed.Washed down with a nice ale.A good selection of lagers and beers at the bar.

Thankyou to Paul and Tony for a lovely evening.The real coal fire fire burning brought back wonderful memories and the ambient atmosphere was wonderful.We were only drinking and like many local residents, we have overlooked this establishment for far too long, but this is now firmly going to be on our hit list.Happy Christmas to all the staff.

Just had a meal for 4 tonight , rang up to see if they could accommodate us at short notice . They were happy to keep kitchen open. We each had 2 lovely courses, fab food,great service would recommend

Nice pub to go for drinks and /or food. Fairly varied menu and reasonably priced. Food nicely presented. Always a warm welcome when we visit.
