Pilsworth fishery
I'm not a fisherman but visited due to a work situation recently. Whilst there, I had a walk round the lake which was lovely. Some remnants of years gone by still there, making their mark. It's nice and quiet. The little lane down to the car park at the lake is pretty run down in places, be careful if you have a large vehicle. I can imagine it's a great place to fish.

Current owner is miserable. Has a huge problem with us fishing without giving us a reason even though we have spent a lot of time and money on fishing equipment and at the fishery. He doesn’t have knowledge on fishing or the fish that are in the lakes, he has never fished before himself and he disagrees with women being allowed to fish. His prices are unreasonable for guests wanting to just sit down and enjoy the scenery. The roads leading up to the lake are covered in holes so be prepared to bump and scrape your car if you are driving up. Very sad man.

We don’t recommend this place… in very close distance Viridor have garbage recycling facilities water is dirty, smell bad air around this place smell disgusting on warm day is impossible to stay there. Better go some place out of city ring and enjoy nature not garbage

The place is definitely not the same as it was previously. New owners have put a lot of effort in to make the fishery a pleasant experience

Nice fisherie, there's a match lake, specimen carp lake and some ponds, I fished the match lake, I managed to catch few carp and tench.

Came here for the first time the other week. It's a great fishery in beautiful setting, has multiple lakes and the big lake that holds large Carp aswell as other species, some decent perch in there too.I will definitely be returning!

Fished on these lodges and lakes for 20+ years and keep going back. Reasonable ticket price with some very quality catches. Litter can be an issue.

My son loves fishing here. Nice big lake the road into the fishery is very long and EXTREMELY uneven with LOTS of pot holes. That need sorting
