Leigh was absolutely incredible from start to finish - I wanted sleeves made to go over the top of my wedding dress but had almost given up looking for something. As soon as I spoke to Leigh about what I wanted I trusted her, she listened and gave great advice and I knew from the first design I had made the right decision. I absolutely love the wrap top - it is stunning and so beautifully made. I had so many compliments on the day and I just can’t wait to find an excuse to wear it again. Thank you so much Leigh!

As a trans bride I was worried about finding a dress for my wedding and finding someone who would help. Leigh was amazing and the whole experience was fabulous ending in finding an amazing dress at an amazing price. Highly recommended

So pleased I found Leigh! I visited her to see if I needed alterations for a wedding dress that I bought and had final fittings for pre COVID in a completely different place in Yorkshire. Leigh helped me with my dress and was unbelievably patient and reassuring. I'd definitely recommend any bride to go to her shop and check out the dresses. I would without a moments hesitation recommend Leigh!Leigh made my wedding dress and a Mother of the Bride outfit. She also worked on the bridesmaid dresses that we got from LauraLea Boutique (would highly recommend!!). All the dresses that Leigh and her team designed and created were just perfect!From the moment we walked into the boutique til the day we collected the outfits, everyone was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Leigh always made myself and my Mum feel special and it was amazing to see a dress be made through the different stages. I LOVED wearing my dress on my big day; Leigh had spent so much time on it that it fit really well, meaning I didn't have to constantly pull the dress up or faff with it! It was so comfortable I wore it from 1pm til after 1am! The quality of the fabrics are wonderful and the colours we had chosen co-ordinated nicely.My Mum loved her outfit so much she is having a second one made for my brother's wedding later this year. I will be looking at LauraLea boutique for future outfits and would tell anyone in search of a wedding dress to go to Leigh Hetherington!!

Leigh is a very talented designer and an all-round lovely helpful person. I visited her salon in a panic after gaining too much weight to fit into the wedding dress I chose last year. I loved that dress and was feeling upset about no longer being able to wear it, but Leigh was incredibly kind and reassuring. She didn't put me under any pressure to buy anything and I had a relaxed browse through the shop. She helped me to pick out a gown that I'm even more excited about than my first dress. Definitely check out the dresses she designed herself if you're looking for something a bit different from a 'typical' wedding gown. The salon also has a range of really beautiful hair accessories and I bought my headpiece here too. I'm so glad I stumbled on this place!

Couldn't recommend Leigh Hetherington Bridal Wear enough! The process of buying my wedding dress and having it altered was seamless. Leigh is incredibly friendly and lovely too!

Posting from my husbands account.After being extremely nervous about having an outfit made for my sons wedding as I'd never had anything specifically made before. I'm so pleased I did. Leigh made the whole process so easy, I was able to suggest things and show her outfits I liked and she was able to say yes or explain why certain things wouldn't work for me. The end result was beautiful and I got so many compliments on the day. I'm just waiting for my other son to name the date and I will be back without hesitation for another outfit to be made. Leigh made a veil to match my wedding dress and personalised it by stitching our initials into the train. I absolutely love it and got so many compliments on it! I really appreciate the time she put into hand stitching it and matching it perfectly to my dress. I will treasure it forever ❤ Thank you!

Oh my word I can not explain what Leigh did for me.I knew I'd struggle to find 'the' dress so when I explained to her I'd like those sleeves with that bodice and another skirt all together to make a dress she just got It.. she rustled up my dream dress and every time we went for a trial she made us feel so at ease .my dress was ethereal, magical, bohemian pre reaphalite..and I could not recommend her more. thank you Leigh .. forever grateful .She also made mine and my daughter s beautiful wildflower headdresses and they're absolutely stunning too. Amazing

Bought my Watters Wtoo wedding dress from Leigh and I am so pleased I did! From start to finish she was so lovely, knowledgeable and calm - and never pushy when I was being indecisive!I ended up losing quite a bit of weight before my wedding and the adjustments that were needed at the last min were quite extensive, but nothing was too much trouble. She even added buttons to the back and optional straps to the bodice. She is great at what she does and obviously very talented as a seamstress as she makes her own dresses as well.I also got a lovely veil from her as well.Thank you Leigh for everything, I felt amazing in my dress!
