On the surface, Rattlebag looks like a pretentious cocktail bar where only the trendiest can drink. In reality, it’s a cool, relaxed, friendly and welcoming spot to enjoy an admittedly expensive cocktail. It’s not a spot to stay and drink all night, but it’s perfect to pop in and treat yourself to a nice cocktail. I would highly recommend it. A nice little addition to Belfast.

Chris and team do an exceptional job of making sure you have a good time! Cocktails taste great, music is great and the atmosphere is perfect for the venue. Wouldn’t recommend a better cocktail bar in Belfast!

Fine cocktail bar with actual alcohol in them, unlike many bars in Belfast who give juice and ice. Original cocktails with presentation. The staff are well trained and knowledgeable so definitely try this place out. No matter what tour drink is, it should be represented here, and additional and traditional cocktails can be made too. Excellent.

Chris and Matthew were brilliant hosts and the drinks were exceptional. Really special intimate cocktail bar - definitely put it on your list to visit! Thanks for all the local recommendations too!

Fantastic bar, fantastic service.This bar has an amazing atmosphere and the cocktails are exquisite. Definitely worth stopping by. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgeable

I've been before, it was different and quirky so brought friends to Rattlebag to try some of the cocktails. Completely different story this time and I won't be back. First time we had a great waiter, the place was full & vibrant. They want to bring exclusive masterchef cocktails to Belfast - so our guide" talked us through our options and explained what the concepts and ingredients were. He asked what we like and gave us recommendations - it added to the fun of the experience and we stayed for a few rounds.This time round we were handed an cryptic menu (apparently it changes on a regular basis)

Such a hidden gem, it made me think of a LasVegas lounge, sumptuous and plush with red curtains. The cocktail menu was interesting and inventive with quite a few twists. It's a perfect late night venue

We visited here during a busy Christmas period. We didn't have to wait for a seat. The host Christopher was excellent. He spilt our large group to get us in out of the cold to two tables. Quickly we were joined to a single table. He explained the menu which favours the main spirit... Be warned., delish but strong.Christopher was attentive but not over overbearing. Paddy was a wizard mixing the drinks which were phenomenal, the musical was atmospheric without overpowering the conversation. 100% would recommend

Very cool vibe in this bar. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and helpful without hovering. Drinks menu was definitely not what we are used to but we enjoyed trying out some new flavors. There are a number of different bars/restaurants/hôtel in the building so you could have a night out in the building.
