Dobbies Garden Centre Gailey

Food was mediocre. But the seating area was a mess. Staff didn't bother to clean up the tables. My fries were served cold. They did give me a fresh batch when I raised it. Such a shame. Food used to be good and it used to be a nice place to eat.

Decent garden centre selling everything you should need for your garden and outdoor area. Christmas decorations were in demand when visited having just been out on display. Prices for items seem on the high side where a local diy store would be cheaper. Cafe very large and good food and drink served. Worth a visit.

Have been coming to this garden centre for a few years now and it's always been a great experience. But lately things seem to have gone down hill, the place is a mess. Carpets are stained to high heaven like the roof has leaked everywhere, and I mean it's not just one place it's all over, even the outdoor area seems neglected. The whole place is in serious need of some TLC and potentially a full refurbishment. Not a pleasure to visit at the moment.

Regarding the cafe, the staff working in the cafe they was doing their best, but they were so understaffed it made it really hard for them, Dirty tables everywhere, customer cleaning there own tables did no see any Get cleaned with spray or cloth.The food was nice but expensive considering the serviceAgain, the team that was working was great. I just need many more at the price you can afford it

Quite expensive, but can find some good things on sale. Lovely to have a walk round though, and it has an upstairs with discounted regatta clothing.

Just about the worst breakfast you will ever waste your money on. Dried out beans and scrambled egg. Mummified sausage. I was surprised they had the nerve to serve it and I was daft enough to pay. Appalling

Popped by to get some decent compost, as supermarket one was awful. Found hanging baskets on sale for £2 each, bought 4 and cosmos £1 each, bought a pot. Very happy with my purchases and prices today

Went for festive afternoon tea which was very nice & good value for the price. The staff available worked very hard but tables had used crocks piled high on them, I had to go to counter to request more tea & the whole area seemed neglected. Its a shame because the staff were very nice but obviously working under a lot of pressure.

My friend and I spent several hours there.As we had gone for the special tea.The store is very well laid out with all types of Items from Christmas to day to day Items, feed for cats dogs birds etc.Facilities for disabled,Plus a very good restaurant,My friend and I enjoyed our tea, plus the waiter who served us, his name Harrison was a very cheerful person with whom you could communicate,and have a good laugh with .Thank you for making our visit a happy one.Every Dobbies Garden Centre I have visited,I would highly recommend you visit each and everyone.The video of Robin singing they have 2,that visit every year from November until the end of January.This one stays outside, the other inside we could hear but not see the one inside.

Large safe car park. Dobbies Garden Centre is easy to get too and huge! It holds stock of pretty much everything I need both indoors and outdoors. Has a great loyalty scheme which gives you a good discount on plants and drinks from the big restaurant upstairs.
