Had a great day's fishing peg 16 on Ben's 6 mtrs out on meat and corn,had 6 bream to 3 lbs and lot's of carp too

The café was ok, lots of options, but nothing stands out as anything but ok. The location is nice, apart from the scrapheap next to some picnic tables and the smell of sewage didn't help either. I think 3 stars is a fair review.

Great days fishing on Dragon lake. Catching fish all day long. Nothing big but constant bites. Definitely go again

This is a decent fishery and we caught steadily all day despite the sub zero temperature when we arrived.The guy in the tackle shop was a bit over enthusiastic and came out chasing us to pay before we'd even had chance to set up even though they had barely opened up for the day!There's a nice cafe and clean toilets so no complaints there.

Lavender Hall Park
I love this park, I take my kids here all the time, it's peaceful and pleasant. People are friendly and great for getting the kids walking around the trails through the woods and around the track back to the playground, which has been recently refurbished, which is great. Parking is limited but I have never had too much trouble. Brilliant park!
