Town & Country Property Auctions - Dorset

I put my deceased relatives house up for auction with Town and Country as soon as lockdown permitted. We needed to sell his home as quickly as possible, and to put it up for auction seemed the best possible solution. The company were professional from the very first contact. They clearly explained terms and conditions, what we could expect, and how they would market the property. As I live some distance away, they valued the property, and we agreed on a reserve. There was interest so we hoped it would sell pre auction, and that is what happened, at an agreed price that we felt was fair, for a quick sale.They were efficient, kept me fully informed and gave advice when I asked. They always returned calls, and kept me informed of progress via email.I did not , in any way, get a hard sell, or over optimistic valuation, I felt they were fair from beginning to end. I had contact with two people, who were both helpful and professional.Whilst the house was empty, they undertook weekly visits to the property, making sure it was always secure. To be absolutely honest, I cannot fault their service, and the end result was a sale, at a fair market price.My experience of Town and Country was a good one, I was very happy with the professional service I received, from beginning to end.

We have just sold our beloved family home of 64 years through Town and Country. Having been the sole owners of this property, as the next generation, it is truly one of the saddest decisions we have had to make.
