The station itself is clean but the service is abysmal. Services to and from Nottingham are roughly 4 times a day. The service has deteriorated over the years and I really don't know why it's kept open.

Service is not frequent, mainly popular during the morning peak, evening peaks with the odd service during the day.

Service frequency is pretty much peak hours only" here with no trains serving other times. Ticket machine was covered up and presumably non functioning. Shelters are provided as well as step free access too which is nice. No car parking nearby either because reasons.There's a lovely garden on the platform towards Derby with poppies for memorial purposes and it's good for watching trains but not much else."
