Took a number of games and DvDs in to the Huntingdon store yesterday with a vulnerable adult who I support .Was told they could not sort through them and get a price there and then but they would give me a call in 2-3 hours, the call never came and it's almost 24 hours now .We wanted to receive the price before deciding whether to definitely sell .Not at all happy.

Went in with my son so that he could buy a gaming controller.Staff pretty much ignored him until I went in and enquiredProduct ok, cheap, staff rude and unhelpful

I only gave 3 stars as although we have a few pawn shops in town. You are limited with what you can sellSo I'd like to see one of the pawn shops broaden the items they buy .But having a pawn shop dedicated to tech isn't a bad thing..Cex is by far the best place in town to buy a second hand phoneAnd there handsets are graded so you can get like new grade A hand sets . Or save money and go for a B or C.with there B's I really can't see any faults at all. Clear screamsNo scratches so really just saved you money with out compromising..They also do gaming and also tablets laptops. Multimedia TV box's cameras. And camcorders..Even dvds from 50p. And games from 50p also.Though if you've kept hold of any of your old consoles like PS2's or even original Nintendo's and super Nintendo's some of your games are surprisingly valuable.. so bring them in.I couldn't believe the value in the old nes games.. sega or Gameboy...Well worth checking out first if your looking to purchase some new tech

Took some games to sell. 1 particular game I had purchased previously but not played or even loaded up on my PS4 was refused because of surface scratches. I explained that I had recently purchased this game from them. He checked my account and confirmed it with the manager. He still refused to take it back. Bye CEX, I won't be using you again.

I have done multiple drop and goes in this store. Zero issues, I’ve always been waiting less than 2 minutes in store. They are always friendly. The manager always has to jump in as the staff don’t really know how to process drop and goes. But they get the job done so no faults

I took a xbox one to sell, was told it would take half an hour which was fine so I left them to it. On return I was told it would take another half-hour because it was updating, so again I left them to it. 45 mins later I returned and was told the xbox was faulty, wouldn't read disks. I thought that was odd because I checked only two days ago and worked fine. They won't buy it so I took it home and checked it and working as it should. I reset the xbox to factory setting before taking it to CEX so you need to go through a process to set up the xbox for first time use so when I checked back home I had to go through this process, so this tells me they did not test the xbox. What a waste of time.

Very impressed. I was desperate for a phone, store was closing, waiting for last ppl to leave the store, doors locked. Man let me in, after close time. In a rush I choose an inadequate basic phone, (my choice). Came back in at the weekend. Got a full refund for the basic phone and, upgraded it, have a fantastic phone now and my dad is very happy with the phone I got for him too.I was very impressed with the outstanding service/advice I received.

The have decent products and prices. However, when paying or selling with cash. They always short change you. So watch out!

A bit expensive but a good variety of stuff
