Boots Pharmacy

Terrible pharmacy! I get my monthly prescription here, however everytime I go in its never there! So I'm having to go 3-4 days without my medication until my doctor can sort it out, they say they will reorder it (repeat prescription) and never do!! They are absolutely useless!!Avoid this place!

Awful awful place to have to go pick up a prescription. If you suffer with mental health stay clear, the staff are brutal.

It takes them 40 minutes to count 24 pills .any slower they will stop.

I booked a vaccination appointment for 2.15 today at this pharmacy. I turned up at 2pm and told the staff why I was there. Waited 30 minutes, got told to fill a form in, and was then told they didn't have the vaccine in stock, and could i come back later in the day, while they sourced some more supplies from another branch. I live 150 miles away from Carlisleand booked the appointment on my way home from a funeral. They had my mobile and email address, so had plenty of time to tell me in advance that they were having supply problems, rather than leaving me waiting around for an unacceptable amount of time. I declined to return, or wait longer, and booked an alternative appointment closer to home. Very poor service.

What a total shame that Boots have decided to shut this branch down from mid Jan 24. Unlike Dalston pharmacy, I have always found the staff here really helpful, professional and a real credit to Boots so very sad news that this great branch is soon no more- thanks to all and hope you are well looked after by Boots.

If you want to wait 20+ mins for your prescription use this shop. Three weeks running my prescription hasn't been at the chemist!!!

staff are friendly & store is marked out for the 3 people allowed in at a time its a small shop so it's important they go to these measures

My parents went in for a prescription and were told that it wasn't there, but the till worker didn't look for the prescription and this isn't the first time its happened. The doctors said they've sent the prescription this has happened to other people in the area as well, so my parents may have to use another chemist not impressed
