Highland Club Scotland

What a wonderfully peaceful spot for a holiday. The South end of the Loch Ness, at the old Fort Augustus. All within close proximity to cafes, shops, and pubs.

Stayed in the Monastery 17 this was just the perfect place for me and my wife. Being on the top floor the view and scenery over Loch Ness is breathtaking. Being in the Highland club meant we could use the pool and gymnasium. Fabulous place will most certainly be coming back!

Stayed the week in this beautiful property in Fort Augustus. Our apartment was the 14 Raven Wing, which offered a view on the great front lawn. It was spotless and had everything my daughter and I needed: we were very comfortable.There is just so much to see and do around the property: walking inside this old abbey, outside directly to the lake, the swimming pool, the tennis court, and all other amenities… Not to mention the walking access to downtown Fort Augustus or to trails going up into the hills overlooking the Loch Ness.We hope to be back soon to discover more of the Highlands.

We stayed in Apartment M14, an enormous 2 bedroom, 2 bath self-contained apartment. So much space, so comfortable, amazing views of Loch Ness and great resort facilities. We did not think to pack swimmers for our trip to Scotland in the middle of winter but we would have loved to have tried the large heated pool and steam room. However the lounge and games room was well used instead. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated and the shortbread and wine we received on arrival was much appreciated!

The location of the Highland Club is perfect. With the canal running along one side of the grounds, a river running the other and the beautiful Loch Ness lapping the shore at the bottom then stunning hillside surrounding the loch and village. It really is beautiful.The Abbey itself where the apartment is situated is within is stunning. Our apartment overlooked the courtyard chess board and it honestly felt like we were staying at Hogwarts!The apartment itself was well presented, well resourced, clean and generally lovely. The procedures put in place in response to the Covid-19 pandemic were excellent and we felt reassured and safe.There are lots of walks nearby, bikes to hire, boats to take you on a cruise of the Loch, little shops, pubs and restaurants.I highly recommend a visit to the Highland Club and to Fort Augustus!

Had a amazing stay at the Highland Club last week. My friends and I booked a 3 bedroom flat which was furnished to a high standard and we spent a lovely time exploring the Club facilities and the surrounding area.The location is perfect for Loch Ness as it is literally on the grounds of the Club, we spent some peaceful moments relaxing by the Loch and drinking in the beautiful scenery.The Highland Club has great sporting facilities with a swimming pool, badminton and tennis courts with table tennis and even a cricket pitch.We spent our evenings in one of the local pubs which did good food and then retired to the Clubs Games room for whiskey while playing snooker on a full sized table, a perfect end to a day of hiking.Highly recommended for Highlands trip.

Fantastic staff and breathtaking architecture throughout the abbey & apartments. The Chapter House is spacious, modern and well-equipped but still retains original features like the vaulted ceiling and bank of mullioned windows. We spent a lot of time in our private garden but the entire development is beautifully situated with grounds right to the edge of Loch Ness.

This place is amazing. A monastery that has been converted to apartments. Ours overlooks the courtyard on one side and the southern tip of Loch Ness.

The house is much better than I supposed. The view of the house is stunning, from the windows of one side of the house you see the historic building of abbey church, and the other side it’s the picturesque Loch Ness. House is clean and the kitchen has got anything you need to cook a meal. The Highland Club is family friendly. Kids can play tennis, football, badminton in the their professional area and also swim and sauna in the swimming pool. Simon and Elena all all very nice, they are ready to help at anytime. Would definitely comeback again in future and recommend it to friends.
