Orchard Kitchen Café
Generous portions, a nice friendly team and a good selection make this place a lovely location to visit. The outside seating is abundant in the form of picnic benches and you can sit indoors instead, should you choose. A great place to get a coffee or an ice cream before you walk around the estate.

Orchard Kitchen Café
I'm afraid the Orchard Kitchen's food and menu is not what it use to be! Often food not available on menu, poorly presented on the plate and lacks imagination and colour! No more salad with dressing but a load of crisps overspilling the small plate! No choice of wholemeal/brown bread if you are having a sandwich and bring back baguettes!! The cake selection today was virtually depleted at 1.30pm! The wait time to be served also needs addressing!! I say all of this with affection for the estate but changes need to be made as there are a lot of café/garden centres that offer so much more!

Orchard Kitchen Café
I had some work to do away from home, and checked the Marks Hall café would be open until 5 so I could do it there. I arrived just before 4pm, ordered some tea and a (very stale) scone. With the occasional glare in my direction but no word to me, at 4.30, a member of staff pulled the door shutters down and bolted the door. I went over with my tray to check closing time and for another cup of tea, and was told I'd missed last orders. I asked if I could stay till 5 and a staff member pulled a face. I guess from that you want to go home early?" I asked. "Yes" was her reply. So I left
