The Carpet Mill

Just had a carpet fitted by The Carpet Mill, Cambridge. Couldn't be more pleased. Excellent, professional and friendly service from both Peter Day at the Carpet Mill, and his carpet fitters, Jim and Oliver Ladbrooke. Fantastic team and so careful to get things right. Would recommend them to everyone who wants a carpet!!

I used The Carpet Mill to fit flooring into my new house. The experience was excellent from start to finish. Peter is a really nice chap and is a true expert in his area. Given this was my first foray into flooring his experience and advice on materials, colours & quality was honest and valuable. He's straightforward to work with, with no sales gimmicks or upselling tactics.The fitting process was seamless as well, as I couldn't be in to meet the them Peter was happy to arrange for keys to be passed between the different fitters.The final look on my flooring was top notch and I'd gladly use the shop again in future.

Friendly and helpful service from Peter in the shop, a wide range of carpets to choose from, and efficient, speedy, expert fitting from father-and-son Ladbrooke team, which made this a painless experience. Prices reasonable and we are very satisfied with our purchase.

We have been completely delighted by the whole service from Peter at the Carpet Mill. I have used Peter before a few times for carpet and vinyl for my bathrooms but this time needed a much bigger job - LVT throughout the ground floor of my house. He was so brilliantly helpful advising and lending us samples and really went about and beyond the call of duty to make sure we made the right choice. I love that he is the opposite of a pushy-sales type and just gives honest advice and helps you make up your own mind. I will recommend this service to everybody, absolutely thrilled with our flooring. The fitter he works with (Paul) is also brilliant. Thank you!
