Both Olly, Nab did a fantastic job on the 2 watches I asked them to change the batteries on.

I needed to get my dads old Omega fixed. I'd found it dumped in an old box, years after his death. It was 18kt but the dial was rusted away, it needed a new crystal and a thorough going through as only ticked after shaking. I googled a lot of watch repairers because I knew I'd need to spend a reasonable amount to restore it to its former glory. I chose The Watch Lab from the reviews and the fact it was going for years in St John's. I'm glad I did, it took about 18wks, but the watch that came back was amazing. It just glowed, I also got a small bag of the bits They'd replaced. Have now passed on to my brother and he's buzzing. It was nearly a grand, but it was an expensive watch and every jeweller I spoke to quoted £500 just for a service. Not a great picture but was immaculate.

All aspects of service were perfect. Ollie was able to help me sort 3 issues within a week.I had a back of one pop off that he fixed for free on the spot. I came back with two other that had broke. One needed a new battery and the other had damage inside the dial. He replaced the battery for me in about 2 hours for a fair price. And instead of charching me the ~ £150 for the other one he got me in touch with Fossil and I'm now getting it fixed for free. He's an honest and hardworking person who is there to help you out rather than just take your money. I'd recommend giving him a visit any time you have questions or issues with your watch!

I had a couple of scuffs and slightly bent clasp on a brand new Tag Heuer watch. Firstly the lady told me to just wear it as it would be expensive to fix. When I asked for a price she said about £150-£200 for a new clasp but could be more. She then said it wouldn’t be worth it as it was half way towards the cost of a new watch (which isn’t the case on a £2k watch). Her next advice was to wear the watch into the ground and save money every week so in a couple of years I could buy a new watch. Very bizarre behaviour. In the end I went locally and paid £20 for the scuffs to be polished and clasp fixed.

Very grateful to Olly and the rest of the staff here for their general professionalism and the outstanding level of service I received. I brought in an old Pulsar watch a little while ago and was not expecting anyone to be able to help due to the brand being discontinued, the age of the watch itself and the severity of the repairs needed. Staff took the watch and sent it off to their specialists. Throughout the process they updated me regularly - they were continuously empathetic and patient. A short while later I received my watch - now fully-functioning and ready for use again. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Should really be leaving a zero rating as never got to actually rate the service - called to check opening hours and was told 5:30 so travelled over from Calderdale to get a watch repair got to the store at 4:25 to the gentleman closing the shutters I asked if he is closed as I was advised earlier they are open until 5:30 - the response “yeah mate I’m covering today so closing early” not exactly great service and makes me question if this is their approach to customer service does not really give me confidence on their repairs- hugely disappointing

Got an outrageous quote from here for a battery replacement on my hugo boss ceramic watch. The lady said it would cost about £45 and require an hour wait. I went around the corner to the watch hospital in merrion instead and got the battery replaced in literally less than 30 seconds for £10.Not sure if this place is knowingly scamming people with these obscene prices or are just really bad at there job. Either way, do not waste your money and time here, go elsewhere.

Very friendly service and only waited an hour for a battery replacement on a ladies Gucci watch and a gents fossil watch. Both battery’s came with a 2 year guarantee. Gucci watch had a polish as well at a total cost of £85 for both. The Jeweller's had advised us it would be about £115 for the Gucci and between 6-8 weeks wait ! , not much of a decision to make and they suggested Watch Lab.

Very friendly service. Fast and efficient. Got my battery replaced in no time at all, and the free two year warranty on it gives you piece of mind. Would happily use them again.
