The Townhouse

Sometimes you come across a place where 5 stars doesn't seem like enough. The Townhouse was one of them. Absolutely phenomenal in every regard. David was an amazing host. Cheers from Canada

I stayed at The Townhouse for one night. What an amazing B&B. I was greeted by David with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I was travelling for work and was given a lovely king room and my room was situated on the top floor. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern and had all the little added extras that make it a more relaxing experience when travelling for work.The breakfast was also fantastic (fresh pastries).

Fantastic boutique hotel in a lovely setting. Attention to detail and cleanliness was faultless. So many added extras in the room made for an extremely comfortable stay. David is a very engaging and entertaining host.Highly deserving of its 5 star rating.Will definitely return.

What's the word I'm looking for? Magnificent? Opulent? Stupendous? All of the above. This was the highlight hotel of my entire vacation. David welcomed us to his fabulous and stupifyingly beautiful establishment and looked after us in true old fashioned STYLE. He and partner Laurent have been dealing out this award winning treatment to their clients for eleven years now and it is obvious they enjoy what they do. The rooms are breathtakingly lovely and abound in old world elegance. From the beauty of the stunning gardens to the personalised chocolates on the beds nothing is neglected. We even had scones to start the evening. Close to all the great Perth shopping adventures but just far enough away for a healthy constitutional and with a fantastic view of South Inch Park directly opposite the property, this is a must for anyone who wishes to have a charming stay. David cooked our yummy breakfast and makes a point of personally serving the guests himself. I felt like a proper lord of the manor thanks to the efforts of these wonderful gentlemen and their tasteful attention to our needs. A spectacular experience.

An amazing place to stay, the attention to detail is off the scale. From the start, the car parking, the welcome (as if we old friends), the room which had scones & clotted cream with homemade jam ( for the tired traveller) along with so many extras, luxury teas, coffee & cafetiere, biscuits, fresh fruit. The room was furnished to a very high standard, all pieces complimenting each other, I could go on and on. Every thing you need and want from a stay in Perth you have here including a fabulous breakfast and such good value. Thank you David and Laurent, hopefully we will be back again if in the area.

We had an excellent night's stay here. The whole hotel, and rooms, are very comfortable and well decorated. Breakfast in the morning (a la David) was probably the best hotel breakfast we have had in some time. The parking at the back was very convenient and the hotel is just a short walk from the city centre. We will happily stay here again when we next visit Perth.

Stayed for a night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. David was a gracious host and made a stellar breakfast for us. Within walking distance to some good restaurants, the river, and has a large park across the street. If we ever return to Perth, we would stay here again without a doubt.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, David was outstanding! He greeted us like family following a fairly long trip up from Bristol.His hospitality is exceptional.The room was amazing. It had so much quality and interest but also felt extremely comfortable, clean and cosy. My husband and I spent 12 days touring Scotland. We stayed in chain hotels, AirBnB apartments, a tiny cottage, a country manor house and The Townhouse in Perth was my favorite stay by far! We had the downstairs park view room. The decor--luxurious, comfortable, beautiful, functional, fun. The amenities--lovely linens and comfortable bed, gourmet coffee and tea service in the room with fine china, extra adapters if needed, scones, cream & jam, newspaper, chocolate on your pillow. Quiet--we didn't hear a thing that night even with a full house. Heated towels and powerful, hot shower. Breakfast--fresh croissant, french press coffee, fruit salad with mint, made to order eggs with hollandaise to die for! When I return to Scotland, I will definitely stay here again. It was just dreamy!

Beautiful house with a full 5 star reception and welcoming stay. Room was spacious and fully equipped right down to fresh fruit, fresh scones and shortbread. Breakfast was amazing and the host David could not have been more accommodating
