I am so grateful to the guy in this shop, who helped me out in a sticky situation. I was travelling through on my summer holiday and got a severe puncture on my tubeless tyre. I had a repair kit but no idea how to use it and he took the time to sort it out for me straight away, even if he was obviously very busy with other stuff. Big thumbs up!

Absolutely abysmal service! Called on fri, advised that my bike need some repairs such as new front and rear derailleur new chain and possible front wheel bearing. I was told that would be no problem and the repairs should take a week to 10 days and i should bring the bike in the following wed. I did this only to get there and the guy behind the counter told me that he had no record of this and wont take the bike. Despite me finishing work early and driving from ardrossan. A complete waste of time!!

Great place with great staff. I like to support Local Bike Shops when I can. I’ve used others before and been made to feel like my problem isn’t big enough (or expensive enough) for them to bother with.That is absolutely not my experience here. You get the impression the guys at Carrick Cycles would gladly go out their way to help you.They’ve never let me down when I need a part. Yes, you might get what you’re looking for a wee bit cheaper online, but I’m happy to pay a bit more for a face to face interaction from knowledgeable, friendly experts.Cheers guys.

I took my bike in about 18 months ago to have the rear wheel respoked and trued and, while it took longer than expected (about 10 days), they did a great job and saved me about £200 over the cost of a new one.My main criticism is that while they have no space to spare in the shop, they also don't appear to have have any sort of booking system which would allow you to bring your bike in when they can repair it ASAP. Consequently, you often have to leave your bike with them for days, and they're not the best at providing info on when the work will be done.

Ordered a pump from them. It was going to take a while for it to be delivered (no fault of theirs). So, they loaned me their own track pump to use. Now that is what you call customer service

My Husband needed a new bike tyre. As we were at fort William at the time and moving on to aye the next day it made sense to call forward and order one.Great service from Craig and I would strongly recommend a visit if you need anything from a drink bottle to a new bike.

Got me out of a pickle yesterday morning. The bloke (sorry I never caught your name) lent me a bike stand and gave me some oil allowing me to fit a new chain. He even let me clean my hands afterwards. Happy days!
