Came here Saturday and was made to feel so welcome. Food and service both excellent. I love the quirky decor and the piano and so nice that dogs are welcome in the spacious beer garden.I'd definitely recommend and return.Particularly liked the steak and ale shepherd's pie.

This was a great find when visiting nearby.Really friendly service. Beer garden is a lovely space. Dog friendly. Great selection of drinks and food was perfect.I'm definitely keen to return and my family are too.

Lovely friendly pub, your traditional looking but with a quirky style , real fire very welcoming. Stayed on campsite near by easy walking distance not a lot of parking places. The food was excellent definitely go back when we stay again have live acts on too on certain nights.

Small pub with kind and friendly staff, it had a cosy atmosphere and a welcoming fresh beer garden out back. They offered a good selection of food with a great price.It tasted amazing and was presented very well, I would highly recommend this place to grab a bite if you are on the area, very worth it!

First Time visiting and definitely would not be returning.To start off when arriving we was never seated so we have to find our own table after being told it was round the corner. To then we have to move the table around to fit us on.No table service which was fine happy to go to the bar. When ordering our meals, 2 out of 6 of us when to the bar and ordered our meal first (telling them we was all on a table together and the others would be coming up shortly to add to the ordered) in my head that basic comment sense to send the food out all together? However we did not only just receive our starters first we had our whole meal and then our friends starters came out 30 minutes later. So they wasn’t even close in time as we tried to wait but the food was going cold.While eating our starters our mains came out at the same time, while still in the middle of eating them!Then to top that off we had a black hair in the side of chips. Honestly couldn’t make up how bad the experience was.The food was greasy and most of us didn’t enjoy the meal.We was told a lot of staff didn’t turn up which we totally understand, however if we knew now how the night was going to turn out we would of turned back around!

Lovely little pub, serving good food....having picked the chicken burger, with chip and side salad, was pleasantly surprised , it was proper tasty chicken...nor dried or over cooked....Best I've had ever.........

Unusual, quirky pub. Lots of different areas to sit in the pub, plus garden.Good selection of drinks with friendly service.We visited at 4pm, one other couple there. Hence four for atmosphere.
