Dont buy anything from here bought a van and had nothing but trouble they say dont give warranty but i sure this is not right even a private seller you have got a come back trading standards is next stop

Very happy with the purchase of an ex police van. The sale moved very quickly with a choice of similar vehicles. Genuine and honest.

Be very very careful. My husband and I bought a ex police Ford Transit custom from this garage in summer 2020. Thinking 'ex police' would be a safe bet. It came with 12 months MOT showing an advisory notice on the brakes. When they were looked at by our long established local garage we were told they were dangerous and it should never have passed. That was the beginning of a very stressful 8 months which has seen us spend more that £8000 on the van that cost £7000. We have had to have a complete engine rebuild after the oil pump failed. OK, this can happen. But, during the rebuild it was discovered that it had the wrong clutch in it, the wrong aircon pump etc. I could go on. Booking it in yesterday for further work on the brakes my garage owner said to me 'if only you had asked us about Wayside before you bought a van from them'.

Terrible customer service, bought a van for my 22year old son to start a gardening business. He’d not had it a fortnight and the engine blew up. We had to arrange recovery at our expense and then arrange to take it back to the garage. The owner was very reluctant to do anything about it then he said he would pay a £1000 towards us having it repaired. When we again arranged to have it collected he reneged on the £1000 and said he would only pay £300.Awaiting advice from trading standards
