Company only seemed interested in the prices of services and not on the quality of medical care supplied. I cannot trust a company with a mindset on finance to take care of my health.

Hughes and Owen are a family friendly, welcoming and professional team. They have been particularly helpful in teaching our children the importance of caring for their teeth and gums.Excellent work and a big Thank you to ClareWatson.

Called the practice to.l make an appointment and the receptionist claimed she couldn't find my records having been to the practice before on several occasions. I repeated on request my date of birth and surname seven times, the ineptitude was alarming. Eventually the receptionist found my records, she said I had been deregistered given that I had not visited for a while!!!!I then - in a very bizarre and off the cuff manor - was lectured about the financial penalties related to not turning up.for your appointment, she regarded them as an offence!!!Finally, she then said that to book an appointment for two months time would cost £65 and was I happy paying this fee? My reply was absolutely not, nowhere else had I ever had to pay an appointment fee for any other health care service. She then immediately replied that she would cancel the appointment.It has to be the worst customer experience I have ever had, if this is indicative of their levels of care moving forward then they should be avoided.I have sice found a provate preacice less motivated by finance, in possesion of manners and only had to.mention nameand date of birth once.

I have a general fear of dentist but thus practice is excellent. John Hanshaw is an excellent dentist and always makes me feel at ease. Very welcoming and friendly. The nurses are exactly the same

Couldn’t see my usual dentist and was very nervous but the receptionists and Vivienne soon put me at my ease and we’re all lovely. Thanks.

Most rude receptionist I've dealt with in a while. Very unhelpful. After I asked for a price for something the answer I got was not really" and after asking general questions about appointment the very sarcastic answer was "we are a dentist you know". I was calling with a query and I wasn't rude at all and at the end she slam the phone down on me."

We have been with Hughes & Owen at Swadlincote for several years now and have always found all the staff to be friendly and helpful, especially our dentist Mark. I had a broken tooth fixed by him today and the whole process from calling this morning to book the appointment, to having the tooth fixed was stress free and painless, cannot thank them enough, excellent service throughout.
