Made a few school boy errors sorting a new rim tape on a tubeless rear wheel at home. Popped in for some help as it’s one of the very few local options open on a Saturday and I’m so glad I did. The workshop staff member was a true gent getting it sorted whilst showing me the error of my ways. Will definitely be back in again.

Been meaning to leave a review for a while now. Been to this store quite a few times now and it's always a pleasure. The staff are always friendly and very helpful. I can't say enough good things about the store mechanic Ben, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, definately deserves a promotion and raise. Would give this store and staff 10/10 if it let me.

Service from Ben is incredible. Dropped in today to check out an issue with a carbon wheel. Ben went above and beyond to not only try to solve the issue but demonstrated in a clear, friendly way what the underlying problem was. The wheel can't be saved, but I am glad I was shown the problem before it became a real one on the road.

I had a great experience at Evans Cycles. I came in with no knowledge about bikes and unsure about what I needed. Matthew from Evans Cycles spent nearly an hour showing me different bikes and explaining differences between them. Based on his recommendations I purchased a bike that I am very happy with! Other staff members were very helpful too fitting mud guards etc Highly recommend!

Could not speak more highly of the service received by Ben, the shop mechanic, over the bank holiday weekend!Was left in a sticky situation when, on the Saturday, the wheel manufacturer sent the wrong warranty item for a rim replacement and with me planning on going away with the bike first thing Tuesday after the long weekend, options seemed non-existent.Ben was very knowledgeable and advised on what parts could solve the problem, and when I did manage to hunt one down, he worked well past closing time on bank holiday Monday to rebuild the wheel, so that I was ready to fly away on my trip early Tuesday.Outstanding service, thank you, Ben!

Ben was super helpful, speedy and knowledgeable. I went in about my spin bike shoes and he fixed them instantly and advised when I would need new cleats. Would definitely recommend for a trusted service.

I’m not someone to write reviews often but Ben in the workshop and his colleague (I didn’t get his name) deserve a medal. I’m doing my first triathlon this weekend and had loads of logistical setbacks in the past two weeks. But Ben and the other young lad in the shop really saved me. Ben fitted my bike for me and with the smallest adjustments made a huge difference. He then even helped me pack my bike into a bike box which I am renting from a different place. They’re both incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about cycling and I don’t think I’d be on my way to this triathlon right now if it wasn’t for them!! I will definitely be back to finish fitting my bike and giving it a good service. Thank you so so much!!

Disappointing service.I had used the online booking to have a service done, booked a slot, chose my preferred level of service. Sounds simple?That is until you arrive with your bike at the booked hour to find shop staff have no record of your booking because their IT systems aren't linked. OK, fair enough, but to then be told they can't do anything as they don't have a mechanic in on a weekend. Isn't the weekend when most commuters would usually want to have their bike serviced?The chap in the store was rather dismissive of the issue - we've had this issue for ages

I had the pleasure of meeting the mechanic Ben on a early one Sunday morning. Very knowledgeable, and got me out of a hole so that I could get riding that day - top bloke, thanks Ben!
