Unit of 70 sq ft was actually less than half that size when I got there. Lots of stress organising another storage on the spot when my stuff is in a van I'm paying for by the hour. Team gave me a refund but I would highly recommend visiting and booking in person instead of trusting their advertised sizes.

The gentleman who was in last Sunday morning provided exceptional customer service. I was flustered due to being homeless, however he took time to ensure I understood the process and made sure I was comfortable.He is honestly an asset to the team and truly deserves a pay rise.Thank you for the exceptional service!

I had THE WORST experience with Shurgard Chalk Farm. After vacating my unit, I received an email confirming that my money would be refunded in 7-10 days ( because they charged for two whole months and I rented for 6 weeks). Vacated on 23rd August and still waiting for two weeks rent to be send back to my account.Reached out to them multiple times via email, problem not solved. Eventually called the branch and was told that my money was refunded only two days ago—which was DELAYED FOR 10 DAYS. The staff talking on the line was unapologetic at all and just told me to wait. Honestly, I deserve an extra late payment fee from them, just like they would request the same fee from you if you don’t pay your rent on time.Shurgard, if you are reading this review, if you care: I WANT MY MONEY BACK.

It does what it says on the tin, very competitive pricing.

Been storing here for years with Citystore before it was taken over by Shurguard, now the service is atrocious, staff are unhelpful and out-rite rude. And since they have no UK based customer complaints department, their staff can pretty much do anything they like without any accountability. Gates are closed or broken many a times.Wouldn’t bother with them; as soon as you have any issues they will treat you exceptionally unprofessionally. Many other better and cheaper options around.

Peter and the team were great, very reasonably priced and super friendly and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate if I need some storage again as was an easier experience than I've had with other national storage companies in terms of billing and checkout. Very convenient if you live in Camden or Chalk Farm.

I needed to temporarily store all of my belongings in a storage unit for a month while moving flats, and I was really happy with the team here! They helped me to pick out the right size unit and never tried to upsell me, which I appreciated. There are lots of trolleys available, and the staff here even helped to move some of my items to my unit and stack them neatly. The prices were very reasonable so I'd definitely recommend CityStore to others

This facility is poorly managed. No staff onsite to help and really hard to reach when something goes wrong. Disrespectful with customers' time...Not only did we not get any clear instructions how and where to check in (the reception office 10 min drive away which we only found out because we called before), nobody bothered telling us that there are two entrances to the storage. One more convenient than the other.In addition, the code we were provided didn't work and when we called the reception office, nobody picked up. Finally, after 5 attempts it took the guy 4 different new codes before we could finally enter the unit.Wasted 30-45 min that could have been avoided if they just a check-in office and reception on-site.Giving one extra star as the storage was as expected and the lock was ready when we finally got there.
