Very easy access and absolutely well signalling all the trails. Variety of trails on lenth.Big car parks available and also possibility of parking on different car parks all close by. A lovely Caffè too to get some extra energy or a warm coffee on a rainy day like today.Playground area included and a little Kiosk with information about the forest. Informative signs during the trail about the biodiversity in the forest.

Lots of parking even on the busier days, good facilities at the main entrance with friendly staff. The walks are well marked and there is some amazing scenery to wander through. Lots of things for people to do and see, especially for the younger ones. Great picnic tables with lots of space.

Lovely trip here today having not been in a few years. Very lovely walks amongst the forest and lots of fun activities for kids and families to enjoy including the Superworm trail and play areas. Only shame is that they've closed the treetop walk which is a brilliant attraction but hopefully this will one day reopen.

Paid Parking, £2 an hour or £6 all day, with disabled spaces (not free) located near the cafe.Mixed woodland with a variety of paths and trails. A number of signed trails are aimed at engaging children.Wooden seats are found in a number of places along main paths. Can get busy but you can still find quite corners away from the crowds and the cafe.

Really beautiful parkrun route. One lap trail course. Very friendly people. A smaller number of runners than other locations. Good toilet facilities and parking is close to the start and a reasonable price. Cafe with vegan and vegetarian choices. Disappointing that they use disposable cups and no teapots on offer! Eating toast on a paper bag and cutting it with a wooden knife wasn't the easiest either. Otherwise excellent. Lots of other activities like walking, bird watching, gruffalo trail, cycle hire/ routes and horse riding routes available. Hope to come back and explore more and would love to do one of the 10k forest races.

Lovely forest with 3 trailed walks ranging between 0.75mile, 1.5miles or 6miles, cycle routes and a horse trail. Cafe offers hot and cold food and drinks, and theres plenty of things for kids to do. Pay and display parking either cash, card or app payments.

Took the Elephant trail for a walk with the children. We had a lovely walk but got lost as we'd taken a wrong turn and crossed I to another walk whilst trying to get back to the cafe/car park etc.Managed to get Google maps on my phone and we made it back. It just needs some better signage. Little legs get tired easily. A few more benches along the routes would help. Cafe closes at 430pm, take your own drinks with you if you're going for a walk in the afternoon as you'll probably not be back in time to purchase before they close.

Nice forest with various paths for walking, a bridleway for horse riding and a cycle trail. The cycle trail is strangely shorter than most of the walking routes and the parking is quite expensive compared with other woodland. After several visits we've left disappointed for a variety of reasons such as blocked footpaths that weren't communicated, no diversions in place, the tree top walk that's been closed for several years and still hasn't been repaired. After a particularly unpleasant visit last weekend we won't be back again.

Wanted to get out into nature so loved walking the 10km walking path around Salcey Forest. I Was impressed with the various lengths of walking and running tracks around Salcey Forest. Loved the wellbeing walk and the fun kits activities too. There was a cafe, toilets, playgrounds for the tiny humans & table tennis tables for the bigger humans. The only downside is the cost of the parking. For an hour is not cheap. For 2 hours its a bit painful. All day is a the cost of a couple of coffees. But after trying to rush through the 10k walk to get back to the car in time, the all day pass is worth splurging on! if you like it & can imagine going back regularly, it's worth paying for a yearly pass! Would not take too many visits to get your moneys worth! There is a lot to see and do, so it will be good. I already want to go back! Well worth a visit!
