OMG what have you done to Rare Gold perfum. I have used this product for 22 years and I always buy bottles direct from Avon. Got my order this morning to find it was in a different packaging box and the bottle was a different shape. Sprayed it on my wrist and help where has the fresh smell gone that I used to love and found it replaced by a chemical smelling perfum that once applied on my wrist has made me itch and smells like cat pee. spoke to customer service who said there have been some minor alteration to the smell - minor whoever did this has totally ruined the best perfum ever made by Avon. This rubbish will be returned. They only changed it to use cheaper ingredients to make more money, it was not done for the benefit of the customer. Now cannot even use it as I have had a reaction to this so called new product. Have you never heard of the say ' if it aint broke dont fix it'. Have had to wash the product off. Now need to find a new perfum that suits me but if avon are resorting to using substandard and cheap ingredients then I will look elsewhere. Disgusting Avon. What a way to destroy sales. Cheap looking packaging as well now. The old black box with the gold writing was classy this new packaging is exactly what the product is cheap and nasty.

If I could give Avon a 0 I would. I’ve been a rep for them with minimal support and no help. Parcels sent to wrong places. Drive miles away from home to get the parcels. Stuff given to you that you haven’t ordered. Minimal pay shocking

Many years' ago I used to live in Northampton and I worked for Avon Cosmetics at Nunn Mills Road. I worked in the (then) Personnel Department and enjoyed my time there - we had to work very hard indeed and the company were strict about time keeping, dress etc., and how , written and verbally we behaved with the public.I do not recognise the company as it is now compared to how it was then! It is inefficient and sloppy. I ordered a simple eye liner in a particular colour. They sent me confirmation of a different colour, so I immediately emailed saying no, that is incorrect. Too late it arrived, but unlike a lot of companies, there was no Returns label, where you can peel it off, repackage and send back via Hermes. What a performance it is to send something back! I rang the local Hermes place and I need a QR number apparently. Emailed Avon to ask for this. I received a standard reply, saying that they are so very busy it will take five days to respond to the email. I have opened an email this morning from them saying they do not stock the (wrong) colour any more! I did not ask for that colour anyway! Grrrr..what on earth are they up to? Again I have had to write saying please send me a QR number, so that I can have a refund.It is sad really, how, what was once a very good company, seems to be in such a shambles today and I shall not order anything from them again.

Avon cosmetics has zero customer care. My sister had a reaction to mascara and inspite of her sending the products back in jiffy bag they provided, she has been waiting since January for her money back. Disgusting!!Avon used to be wonderful. I will never buy from them again.

Firstly I put down where the box had been dispatched from and I’m not blaming them .My wife is an Avon agent and unfortunately she didn’t get a notification to say her delivery for her orders had arrivedand yes it was chucking it down with rain.We came home in the dark and the box was in the garden unbeknownst to usIt had been there nearly a dayand the box collapsed when brought into the house sodden delivered by parcel force . Somewhere there’s a communication breakdown with the courier. Everything was well wet.Not good enough, whoever left it in the rain and not undercover, think next time.

Had an email apologising for no delivery on Tuesday and that I will receive Avon on or by Friday. Was expecting a call yesterday from customer services when they knew which day. Heard nothing yet. After 18 years will be stopping in the new year if this continues. Never been this bad before. Lovely ladies speak to me and apologise but nothing improves. Annoyed. Sad. Disappointed. Let down.

Now that the Uo Northampton has truly arrived at this lovely spot with modern buildings and facilities, the Avon building is a blot on the landscape. Please Avon, do the right thing and exchange your site with the UoN and move to a more commercial area. The people of Northampton would be very grateful.

Appalling service, placed an order and money was taken straight away. 3 weeks later I have no items. Called them and they can’t say when the order will arrive, have no complaints department and can’t issue an immediate refund. 4 days until Christmas and I now need to buy presents. I am absolutely disgusted with this service
