Drumelzier Kirk

Drumelzer Law, hill overlooking Drumelzer. Last summit in a round of 3 Donalds and 2 Donald tops from Drumelzer. This peak is perhaps the most shapely. I ascended steeply from the beallach below Glenstiven Dod. Then I followed a clear track down over Logan Head back to the track then to the car. A lovely peaceful day in the hills.

A beautiful old Kirk.....in the graveyard it's reputed that the last remains of Merlin the Magician are at rest here.

It is an interesting place to visit. It is part 11th and 15th century . Great views and a good area for walking it's part of the Merlin trail . Kirk is well worth a visit. A very knowledgeable gentleman lives next to the kirk .
