Chigwell Sheds

The shed was scheduled for delivery and erection on a Friday morning due to circumstances beyond the control of the driver (Blackwall Tunnel closed and Woolwich Ferry not working). Chigwell Sheds and the driver both contacted me and it was agreed that the second job on the truck would be done first. By the time the driver was out of the traffic and had completed the other job it was too late in the afternoon to get to me and erect the shed in daylight.I agreed with the driver that the following morning (Saturday) would be OK to erect it and was pleased to see him arrive at around 9am. He had said that he would not have a mate with him and had asked if I would be able to help him manoeuvre the parts through our townhouse to the garden. No problem, the driver was gentle with me and between us the shed was erected within a couple of hours.The shed is great and easily holds all the stuff we had in our old tin shed. I would highly recomment Chigwell Sheds and would like to especially thank Neville the driver who went the extra mile on his day off.The sales staff at Chigwell Sheds also warrant a mention as they made the whole decision making and purchase of the shed a piece of cake.Thank you all.

Poorly constructed sheds. Huge gaps in the shiplap panel on delivery.I recommend you to try elsewhere and pay a little more.3/5 for for delivery and fitting

Great service, very helpful advice when we were deciding the type and size of shed. Neville battled through the rain to put up a brand new shed and fence and took down the very old ones that were up. Very happy with the work and would highly recommend.

I ordered a shed 8 weeks ago from Chigwell sheds. I spoke to Davina who who happily took my money and assured me it would be 3-4 weeks and they had no supply issues. When I tried to make contact at 4 weeks as I heard nothing from them, my messages were ignored and I received read receipts and one automated patronising text.I managed to get hold of Neville at week 5 via phone who assured me they hadn't ripped me off and they were having supply problems. I was understanding but said they must communicate this and he assured me they would. At week 8 I have had no communication. Messages have been read but are not being responded to. After further investigation it seems Chigwell Sheds have not been paying their suppliers and there are no more sheds coming their way until they do. I've asked for a refund on my 50% deposit but they haven't responded. Will have to take legal action now - so gutting as saved for a shed for the last 2 years and now feel completely scammed!

Easy and friendly service from start to finish. We were offered clear options and pricing. The lead in time for the shed and installations was a few months but this was made clear from the beginning and the shed was ready to install exactly when we were told it would be. The guys who installed were efficient and polite. All round I’d highly recommend!

We ordered the two storey Forest Den playhouse. Excellent value. Delivered and installed in West Sussex. It looks great and our son loves it. I highly recommend Chigwell Sheds.

Friendly service , kept in touch and answered questions well. Ordered a Tantalised Pent C shed of very thin dimensions (3ft ) when it arrived withoutwindows I was devastated, however Neville read the situation well and went the extra mile to get what I wanted. I am delighted. Thank you.

Chigwell Sheds supplied and fitted a new shed and sandstone slabs for my mother's rear garden. The purchase was very straight forward and I got good practical advice when I asked for it. A great experience and high quality whilst being very clean and tidy. My mum and I are delighted with the finish but also with the very friendly and helpful tradesmen. Lots of communication and hassle free. I can recommend them highly and I already have to several friends. Thanks

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ordered a 10x10ft shed, an 8x8ft summer house, and shed removal. Neville turned up, told me they’d be unable to take the existing shed away as it had to be like for like (it was the exact same square footage as the two structures we’d bought); because it had glass in it and it wasn’t safe for the two teenagers he’d bought with him to assist (it was Perspex, also, most sheds have windows) and then, that it would cost him too much to dispose of.He delivered the sheds to my back lawn, where they’ve been rotting ever since.We also paid them to put down a concrete base. He left a message on the day he was due to come saying there’d been a diary conflict, it was a bit too far to go, and he’d be in touch. Always a litany of excuses. Never heard from them again. Have not responded to any emails, phone calls, or messages.Did a section 75 claim, so my credit card company will be recouping the costs from them.They’re shockingly bad. And when they make a snide response to this, I literally have the receipts and lists of unanswered emails which I can post as proof.
