My high school. Average. I’d happily let my daughters attend here though.

I'm in yr 8 at fairfield and during the first yr it was OK until my best friend started bullying and the school didn't do anything about it. I would give it a zero if I could. The school is full of idiots who can't teach my art teacher is bullying my little sister and all I can say is that it was the worst mistake I ever made coming to school here and I don't suggest you bring your children here

I left this school in 2014 and I hated it then, and now that my younger cousin is there I know it has only gotten worse. When I was there I was bullied constantly (for the whole 5 years by the same people) and nothing was done about it until I was in my last year and my friends and I had paint thrown on us.I feared some of my teachers excessively and this has left me with extreme anxiety and constant panic attacks. My form tutor and art teacher (same person) called me out in the middle of class to comment on a blemish I had on my face that made me extremely self conscious. This same teacher is the one I feared the most. He made me feel as if everything I ever did was wrong and he made it very clear that he didn't like me at all. I've heard many people say they have problems with him too. It would be much better for everyone if he had retired years ago. Most of the receptionists are lovely, bar one. I had an incident in year 8 concerning being sent home. I had started on my period during school, and since I had problems with pain during high school, I had to vomit, which left me feeling too sick to concentrate. My teacher then gave me permission to go home, and so called my parents. While I waited to be picked up, this receptionist asked why I was going home, and I told her it was because I have serious pain problems when I start my period and it happens every month on the first day. She told me I should be sucking it up and taking Ibuprofen, and that she wouldn't let me go home next time. I usually took Ibuprofen and it did nothing so this wasn't a solution, so instead, I stayed off school every time I started my period for fear that she wouldn't send me home if I was sick again.
