Moorlands Woodland Nature Reserve
Very cute little nature land. Went for a little stroll on our anniversary and felt so peaceful, bigger then we expected and plenty to see. Went on a drizzly day so paths were a little muddy and didn't get to see much wildlife but would still return and may of become a favourite place for us now

A very gentle walk suitable for all ages. Flat.We went in a dry day. Lots of squirrels buzzing about .No dogs allowed worth noting if you have a pooch

Moorlands Woodland Nature Reserve
Small woodland walk featuring many mature trees,rhododendrons and Japanese maple. Great for small children to run round and dogs aren't allowed so no risk of poo to stand in. Lots of birds and squirrels. No official parking. Park along roadside which is quite a fast road so take care of children while getting out.

Moorlands Woodland Nature Reserve
Beautiful nature reserve in York, excellent for walking with the family especially with kids. There is a man made pond which encourages wildlife including birds, insects, squirrels etc. Lots of benches to sit and soak up the scenery and atmosphere.

Moorlands Woodland Nature Reserve
Excellent local beauty spot ideal for a quiet walk. Lovely little return loop walk with plenty of flora and fauna to see. The locals really have a gem here so please help them look after it by staying on paths and sadly not taking your pooch.
