Fourtowns Auctions

My partner paid for an item won on one of their auctions 6 weeks back, and paid shipping. Said item has never arrived. We have tried to contact them by phone, email and text, and they never respond. Total lack of politeness and customer service shown, not recommended.

Sale date - 19/04/2022Item still not received almost one month later.Paid for delivery through easyliveauction.No response to various emails.Value - £94.50Will be following this up through the appropriate channelsNow received, one layer of bubble wrap in a damaged box.Would not recommend!

No response to multitude of calls and emails, still waiting one month on, value 200.00 plus

I have purchased several times from this auction house and used their delivery service without a problem but I purchased two items from them on 6th July and paid for their postage service. I have still not received my items. I have telephoned many times and on the very odd occasion they answer the phone they give me a load of rubbish information lying about the parcel. They said it was on a Hermes van and the driver went off sick keeping the parcel, then another couple of excuses.I have emailed to them a couple of times a week, they mainly ignore them and do not reply. They replied to an email once with a tracking number for the parcel I previously had received which clearly showed delivery date was before the 6th July.Since I replied to that email stating it was the wrong tracking number and asking them to send me the correct information they have ignored every email. I fully understand if the parcel is lost or they forgot to send it but I want to know.All previous auctions were great but they have been totally ignorant with regard to the auction of 6th July.If they are continuing this bad customer service I would recommend other customers do not buy from them

I won some lots in April 2022 (around 230 GBP), I paid instantly incl. shipping costs after receiving the invoice, but I never received my lots, Auctioneer claimed that the parcels were lost, and I've been promised that I will get a refund but never received it, auctioneer don't answer my emails anymore. Not trustful, bad experience.

Paid for an item at one of their auctions back in late July for delivery. No goods and no reply to any emails as previous review below, phone goes straight to voicemail. 1st and last time I will be using this auction house.

I made a purchase from this auction house back in mid/late July. I only received it yesterday (End Aug). The phone either goes straight to what I presume is voicemail (as there is no message) or rings and then goes to VM. They don't reply to emails. I got 1 response from them after going though a 3rd party and even that reply was, in my opinion, incorrect. A very poor experience from Fourtowns Auctions.

Purchase an item from them described as excellent condition" which was not-working and broken in several areas. Literally ignored all emails and no response from the auction house at all.BUYERS BEWARE! View in person only and do not rely on any online descriptions."

Having very little experience and knowledge of auctions - staff at Fourtown Auctions made a (to me) daunting process so enjoyable. They gave me plenty of guidance, help, advice and always checked in to keep me up to date. Great craic along the way too. Truly try to do their best for you and would not turn anywhere else if I ever need to auction items again in the future.
