Chris has done a fabulous job completely refitting our bathroom, it is gorgeous. His work is of a very high standard and so when we wanted a new oven, hob and worktops fitted in our kitchen we did not hesitate to call on Chris again. He has done a great job and tidies up beautifully afterwards too.

If Carlsberg did builders…….JCD are the most honest, reliable, conscientious, and tidiest builders you will ever come across. Chris has worked on a few of our rental properties as well as building a fantastic bespoke shed in our back garden.Chris always turns up when he says he will. His work is top quality, with care and attention to every detail. If there is any snagging, he comes back promptly to sort it out. After employing several builders in the past, we wouldn’t look anywhere else now.When a builder hoovers up after himself, you know you’ve found a good one – especially when the hoovering up is outside on fake grass!You might get a few quotes for your job if you haven't used Chris before but I would recommend you just put all the others in the bin and get Chris on the job!

We desperately needed a kitchen fitted, (it's a big kitchen) and a asked for local traders to help and I received a message from Chris from jcd, who offered a quote. From the moment he turned up he filled me with confidence, very professional and also understanding of what we needed. We received 3 quotes and his quote was not the cheapest or most expensive but realistic, and more importantly transparent, every piece of work itemised and priced, no one else did this, and we decided to go with jcd.Thank goodness we did, the kitchen is stunning, and I have never seen accuracy like it, I mean down to the mm, OCD lol.I highly recommend jcd, Chris and Stuart were always professional, efficient and friendly. Which is important as they come into your home, you don't want grumpy tradesman.well done chaps, I will definitely be using jcd again.

Chris and Stuart did a fantastic job on extending and then refitting our bathroom. From our initial discussions with Chris he was helpful, honest and it was clearly apparent he was very thorough in his preparation.The job was completed on time and we couldn’t be happier with the end result! Extremely pleased with our new kitchen and other jobs. Right from the start we new exactly how much the project would cost and how long it would take, with the detailed breakdown and drawings we felt confident to go ahead with JCD.Having used various tradesmen before I have never met one so polite, organised and tidy before. I was always kept updated of any problems or changes, we added on a few jobs as we went along and we were told exactly what costs would be involved, and all logged on a document.I was confident to leave them to it and also confident if I made any changes or had questions they were happy to help.Chris and Stuart are a pleasure to work with and I will be using them again.

Chris came highly recommended from family and friends he had worked on before myself, Chris came and measured up and helped pick out materials for the work, I needed new doors throughout both solid and glazed with handles and to be hung in original door frames (which wasn't easy going due to irregular door frames) he managed to make them all fit perfectly, also all the floorboards upstairs needed removing and replacing. Again a cracking job, all safe, sound and solid. Laminate flooring was needed in a bedroom which Chris helped pick out the colour and best underlay, all put in to a very high standard with all beading around beautifully done. A cupboard made downstairs under the stairs, with framework being made, then filled with insulation and plasterboarded over, then even arranged a plasterer to come and do the once over it all. Incredibly happy with all the work and would definitely recommend him. Not only works on time, full days, but runs round with a vac after... Cracking effort, cracking fella, thanks Chris!!

communication throughout , good quality workmanship, very friendly , left everywhere clean and tidy throughout the duration of the job. Very pleased with end result , would recommend and looking forward to Chris fitting my new bathroom in near future.
