Canton Launderette

This isn’t a reflection on all staff or the service, but about a certain member of staff, who looked like a red-headed (but alive) Sean Lock. I take my autistic friend out once a week and he is absolutely fascinated with washers and driers. We drive all over looking for them and so far everyone is very accommodating (including the lady who was there on our last visit) so he can watch the machines. However, Mr Lock-a-like wasn’t very happy with my friend and made him leave, stating that “he’ll touch things.” I questioned this and he said it was because “of covid.” OK, that is understandable, but surely if he’s concerned of spreading the virus, shouldn’t he be wearing gloves; and (at least) a mask himself!Cheers for spoiling his day mate. If you need gloves and a mask, ask your employer, they’ll issue them to you for free.

It's alright. Paid ~15£ for my laundry to be done (wash, dry and fold) for the next day. I found it a little bit pricey and the clothes didn't smell great (I mean, it was clean, but no softener seemed to had been used).Note: they advised me to do the laundry myself, since it wasn't too many pieces, and it was going to be unnecessarily expensive. But I didn't have the time to do it myself.All in all, a good place, reliable.

One rudest female staff brunette brown hair looking homeless she knows who she is if she sees this comment that’ll be even better. Bought my mum in with me to dry up our clothes, my own mother has arthritis and suffers from migraine, we both know what we’re doing, but that filthy looking little rat female staff comes yelling at us shouting i know she’s racist how she reacted towards us and calmly friendly with other people in the laundry. I will report her to the police very soon giving them full detailed statement so anybody shows her this rat I would like to say good luck darling what messy situation you put yourself in and take you further through legal action. Never coming back and will tell other people your true colours.

Whilst on our travels from Scotland and staying on site at Cardiff City Campsite July & October we sourced a laundrette near to the site and came across Canton Launderette. The girls are so welcoming, friendly, pleasant and so helpful. Keep up the good work and we'll see you when we're back visiting Cardiff.

£24 for 2 jackets - I thought a bit pricey but ok as they were Boss jackets. Damaged the jackets and seriously burnt the labels that I had to cut them off at home. I will avoid this place again.

Went here for the first time to wash our clothes due to my washing machine packing up. Lovely friendly hardworking staff who are very helpful. Plenty of washing machines and dryers to choose from at a an affordable price: You can use our own washing powder / detergent or they have some available for extra costs. If you are looking for somewhere to do a quick load of laundry I highly recommend coming here. Got two loads of darks in one of their bigger machines and a load of whites into their smaller one. Then both mixed in their dryer. To wash and dry took no more than an hour and there's a lovely cafe a few doors down.

if i could give this place no stars i would. so disrespectful. lady watched us put our clothes in without saying anything told us we put too much in the washing machine, the guy chucked our clothes out of the machine n yelled at us. Maybe racism maybe misogyny. kept watching us after we paid more to use another machine. very uncomfortable experience.

I had worries over having 2 expensive sleeping bags cleaned and thought they would be matted. Canton Laundry did a great job on them and they came back fluffy and fresh. I have taken them back again this year.Thanks.Update. The sleeping bags came back fresh and un-matted again so well done Canton Laundry.Steve

Went in earlier for wash. Left and then got stuck in traffic for an hour called up and the girls put the clothes in the dry for me.Friendly service highly recommendJames Bond
