Good ace to watch any sport with plenty of TVs.Can become busy especially wk ends.Down side is the toilets, always look as if never cleaned !

Hole In The Wall
Fantastic Sports bar. Front door leads to staircase with the bar and TV's on second floor. Toilets on first floor. Staff very friendly and quick service. Good selection of beers and ciders. Large amount of TVs and decent seating including sofa's. Shows all sports and big football and rugby matches.

I'm repeatedly disappointed by Hole in the Wall. On a day of a big fixture its rammed and certainly the next best think you'll get, in terms of atmosphere to being at the match.However my gripes:The beer selection is pretty poor. Typically 3 mediocre and very similar ales + a bitter. Fair enough if that hits your crowd but something like an IPA, Ruby, Stout etc wouldn't go a miss.The side room near the bar is great but the main bar, whilst in a lovely room, is a pain for sport. The layout of the seating and TV's is very awkward, I never no where to look and always end up with a stiff neck.Finally though, the food is God awful - it's very very clear that the absolute cheapest ingredients are used. Plastic style cheese on the pizza and horrible school-canteenesque fat for the (already poor) chips and onion rings. The pizza dough is like concrete and tastes as good too. After 2 slices of pizza a couple onion rings and a few (and I mean just a few) chips - my stomach was turning over and as a whole I just felt greasy and disgusting.The building is so nice and the intentions are there, it's just falling so so far short of its potential.

Incredibly gutted, and a little angry, that you have just refused to hold a table so that my disabled partner can enjoy watching the rugby with me in your venue. I was there last week and I understand that you get busy, but seriously?! They were born with fibula hemimelia where there fibula bones, both legs, didn't form fully. They have no ankle movement due to having both ankle joints being frozen, and cannot stand still for any length of time.Not sure why I'm posting this message, maybe it is a bit of shaming exercise. Where is your respect for diversity and disability?

Great venue for events and parties. Can hire rooms and get the cost back if a certain amount is spent over the bar. Reasonable prices for drinks, I've not tried the food though so I can't comment on that.Speakers and lighting setup is solid and good amount of seating. Great venue, the only downside is that there is a lack of parking nearby.Would recommend to a friend.
