The lady that served me noticed my uniform and advised that I would get a 5% discount with a blue light card. I ordered a small fish and chips with a can of Lucozade. It only cost £7.59 and the fish and chips was delicious, one of the best that I have tasted!

First class fish and chips takeaway supper. Battered cod was beautiful, freshly cooked with crisp batter and moist fish. Lady server was cheerful and efficient.

The Best fish and chip shop around!!!Went in on Sunday evening. Staff ever so friendly and chatty put a smile on my face. Chips were cooked to perfection. Cod was one of the best pieces I have ever had. Would definitely recommend paying Best fry a visit for 5 star fish and chips! :)

Fresh Food cooked while you wait. I’ve always had a great experience, it’s not my local but the food is so nice and staff are great that I’m prepared to travel further for the food 5 stars. Highly recommend!!!!

Friendly Staff, Fish and Chips were absolutely amazing my wife had the Bestfry Deluxe which was one of the best burgers she’s had in ages! Highly recommended!

The time before we used this place we were shortchanged a bag of large chips. These were replaced on our next visit. On our next visit we ordered 1 large and 1 small chips together with a fish and sausage and ended up with the chips being the same size! Please check the contents of your order before you leave the premises.

You been to that amazing chip shop where the fish is good but you get 12 chips? It's great" said no one ever.This is my first time back here in a while and I'm reminded why I haven't been here as the service is pretty slow. I'm sat at home still hungry for chips after ordering regular chips. There are two other chips shops in the area that leave me and my other half stuffed when we order regular chips and share it. Really disappointed as the fish was really tasty and fresh. Surely chips are the cheapest part of it so chuck some more on? Chip portion size is the classic thing that makes or breaks a chip shop. Very disappointed. I better fire up the air fryer.Edited: yes prices of everything have gone up

This is a cracking local fish and chips with a good loyalty card. The only negative comment I have is the quality of the chips, they always seem bitty and full of broken ends. It's quite rare to find nice long thick cut chips here.
