Harefield Barn

Absolutely beautiful wedding location and venue just outside of exeter.We got married here on 3rd June 2023 and I couldn't ask for a more beautiful day.Deborah the owner was brilliant and super helpful from start to finish if the day and from initial venue booking inquiry.They have Really made something special here in this purpose built barn and I would recommend this location to anyone thinking of booking their own wedding too

Wow- where do I start? Harefield is the most perfect wedding venue. Steeped in the hills of Devonshire beauty, with views for miles, this venue is the place to hire for your wedding. Harefield Barn is quite simply beautiful and everything we ever hoped for our wedding. From cute signs in the bathroom, to floor to ceiling windows showing off the impressive views, you cannot escape the beauty and perfect little touches. We also loved the mezzanine level that overlooks the hall; perfect for a quick 5 minutes away to take it all in. Just as amazing as the venue, are the owners, Deborah & Robert. We would have never expected the owners of a wedding venue to go above and beyond in the manner that they did. When a few problems came along the day before, and the day of the wedding, they were there to save the day. Their kindness and their skills in planning an amazing day, combined with the most perfect venue made our special day an occasion that we will cherish forever. If you are considering hiring a venue, hiring Harefield Barn will be the best decision you ever make!

Harefield Barn is a beautiful venue with fantastic owners who want you to make the most of your day. The views from the venue are stunning, they have thought of everything and the room to get ready in the morning was exactly what I was looking for. We had the most perfect wedding day!

We had our wedding here in late July and absolutely loved it!We'd researched some venues online and booked a viewing to see Harefield. As soon as we saw it in person we booked it. We just knew it was right for us & didn't feel the need to see any other options.The venue has a perfect indoor / outdoor feel and beautiful scenery. There was space for lots of outdoor games which we wanted.Deborah was incredibly helpful from day 1 and made the planning experience stress free. She was also really proactive on the day and took us and the photographer out for photos around the farm which we loved. Thank you!

I honestly don’t know where to start but at the very beginning I guess . New Year’s Day 2020 myself and Shane had the awful news that the venue we had found were no longer trading . I was completely broken telling my partner I will never find anywhere again .After a few months of doom and gloom Shane encouraged me to begin another search insisting it just wasn’t meant to be . Many bridal magazines, asking local forums and google eventually brought me to Harefeild barn! The images I found were exactly our vision of a light airy modern yet still rustic barn. The grounds looked truly beautiful and it ticked so much of our want list . Outside wedding ceremony option , inside just incase , bridal suit ,gorgeous grounds - we just had to see it . Covid had hit we were in lockdown so we had to do a virtual zoom meeting with Deborah . The second the call was answered we both felt at home with Deborah. Even with the never ending list of questions Deborah lives and breathes the whole experience with you. We were lucky enough to have a break in covid to allow us to have an in person viewing and the pictures honestly are just a small glimpse into the truly magnificent and breathtaking surroundings. I couldn’t stop taking pictures and it was so easy to vision our day from the moment we pulled up into the car park . My partner wished me a happy birthday and the deposit was paid . He insisted this was the place and he knew everything previously had all happened to lead us here . He was just as smitten with the venue and Deborah as I was . The whole process was faultless Deborah was amazing with contacts , helpful information and even providing other vendors details as points of contact if needed . Always just a call or email away at anytime we needed. The staff on the day were all so helpful , kind and appreciated massively. The great team Harefeild Barn and LAP Bar and foods create is truly a faultless perfect fit . Lin and Deborah have you in the most amazing hands you will not have the smallest thing to even consider worrying about . Lin was also amazing working with us to create our welcome drinks , sit down meal and evening options exactly as we wanted another perfect service I can’t recommend enough. Every little detail was taken care of exactly as I had dreamed our day was everything and so much more thanks to Deborah and Robert they are honestly the most amazing hosts. Deborah was honestly such an amazing , kind and caring person . Nothing even the thousands of emails I sent was ever too much trouble . She has a real calmness and it really reflected on the day . We had the most family oriented and relaxed day we could of wished for. Myself and Shane can never thank you enough and as a bride could never of hoped for such an amazing experience from start to end helping me pull together the most amazing day. So many positive and beautiful comments from our family and guests . I would love to do it all again in a heartbeat . The memories will we will all treasure for a lifetime and Harefeild barn will always hold a very special place in my heart . Mr & Mrs Roberts August 2022

Lovely wedding venue. Clean and fresh everywhere. Nice multifunctional building. Service, food, dancing, bar. Good in dry or rain. Tight little roads to get to it though.A car charger or two would have been nice and will be needed soon.

The most INCREDIBLY PERFECT venue!Harefield Barn were incredibly helpful at all times. There was never any pressure to make any decisions or rush into things. Deborah and Robert always had the answer to any silly questions and solutions to any requests. They really got involved before and on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly. They made it the most relaxed, comfortable and beautiful day. We didn't have to worry about forgetting things during planning, as Harefield Barn made sure to run us through their own order of our day for us prompting us with things we needed to think about. Weddings can be overwhelming but Harefield Barn was the perfect choice for a relaxed and easy run up to the best day of our lives!
