Good Evans Kitchen

Written on behalf of my wife:-I absolutely love Good Evans Kitchen and Katie's style - she is just so fab, completely hits the spot! Not only are her recipes creative, tasty and a visual delight, but she teaches in such a fun way. It is far more than 'just cooking', but a mindful experience that helps bring people together. I had the joy of Katie leading an online cook along for International Women's Day, which really helped unite a people and was such a lovely way to share an experience. She has also designed bespoke recipes, which I've loved cooking. She has such a natural way of bringing out the best in both the cooking experience and teaching how mindfulness can be applied in every day life at home. More to the point, she is a joy to be with! I can't recommend attending one of Katie's sessions enough - whether you join her online, or in real life, with a group or on your own, she never fails to make it a meaningful experience. Thank you Katie, for all that you bring.

I attended a group cookery lesson and wow I was blown away! Great and easy recipes to follow, can be re created and get the children cooking at home time and time again. Delicious food that you would think it would be tricky to cook, but made simple. Can't wait to attend my next class and see what else can be learnt. Katie is a patient and fun person to cook with and gives that attention to detail. Thank you again x

I recently attended a workshop run by Katie at Maven in Winchester and had a fantastic evening learning about mindful & seasonal eating, followed by some hands on fun cooking and then enjoying the food. It was great fun, very sociable and I learned loads. Highly recommend!

I’ve been to a workshop online and in person and both have been brilliant - fun, tasty, informative, inspiring and relaxed. I’ve come away buzzing with so many new ideas and recipes. Katie is so knowledgeable about food, nutrition, health and well-being and shares her love of it all joyfully. You can’t fail to enjoy her sessions and learn so much too.

Katie cooks the most amazing food. Her recipes are easy to follow and she has a great way of showing how easy it is to cook with ingredients in a new and exciting way. If like me you have time constraints when it comes to making meals that actually taste amazing, Katie is the one for you.

I did a cookalong with Katie live on Instagram. What a joy. Katie made the whole experience so much fun. She gave me a thorough ingredients list beforehand and suggested substitutions for any tricky to find items. During the cookalong Katie took me through the recipe step by step, giving some great tips and background information about the ingredients as we went. The end result was a delicious Asian salad which I’m definitely going to make again. I’d definitely recommend cooking with Katie if you get the chance.

My cook along with Katie was fantastic - she really knows her stuff! I’m not naturally good at cooking or baking but Katie made it so easy. She was also so understanding and patient with my son on the day. I can highly recommend Katie’s services!

My daughter and I did a cooking class with Katie. It was so much fun and we learnt a lot. The kitchen and food was such high quality. I highly recommend doing this with someone you love, such a great experience! It would be a great gift for someone too!!!

I did a cooking session with Katie and loved her down to earth approach to food. She has super deep insights but shares them in a really accessible way. I love her take on eating foods that love us back and would certainly enjoy cooking with her again.
