Great parking right outside. Friendly helpful staff who helped me pick out a huge variety of buttons for a gift I was putting together for my mum. They had hundreds to pick from. Definitely will go back. Highly recommend to friends and family also.

I have been I customer of Always Knitting & Sewing for many years, and also a member of their VIP Club. Their fabrics are beautiful, delivery is always quick and usually a gift is included. I have phoned them a few times and always friendly and happy to help. I wish I lived closer as would love to pop in. The online tutorials are brilliant and easy to follow. I absolutely love this shop, the quality and choice of fabric is exceptional. If you order online your goods arrive in perfect condition and very quickly. If you call in (as I was able to do when visiting family) you’re made to feel very welcome. Lynne gave us a tour and Heather discussed some ideas with me. We were offered a hot beverage and if I’d had more time I would have loved to have accepted and stayed for a little longer. Keep up the good work ladies. Look forward meeting up with you again in the future.

I just love this shop. The staff are so friendly and helpful. I recently organised a charity craft fair and AKS helped with fabric, ideas and allowed me to post on their Facebook page. Their website and social media posts are tip top and last but not least they have a fantastic range of fabrics.

I love this shop anyway....I spend all my wages here!! However, today I tried a knitting for beginners class and it was fabulous!! Donna is so patient and explained everything so well. Would highly recommend a class here!! What a wonderful afternoon. Thanks Donna xx

I promised myself a visit to your store when on a break in Lytham St Anne’s and having to pass Chorley on the way back to Sheffield seemed a no brainier, well I am so glad I did your store is packed with amazing fabrics, wool and anything else relating to this wonderful hobby of sewing, knitting and other crafting. So so friendly (we were even offered a brew) how wonderful and inviting is that, after our tour we did purchase a few things which could have been a lot more and I can’t wait to get stared on my dressmaking with the beautiful fabric I brought home. Thank you for your help and advice. I will be back either in person or online.

An amazing place. My wife sews but I tag along as I enjoy choosing fabric for her to make stuff for me.The selection is insane, I love the room dedicated to Christmas fabrics.It is wall to wall floor to ceiling fabricThe staff are always bubbly and very friendly. Got a mince pie today!Top quality store would recommend for all your fabric and sewing needs.Worth a travel

I visited AKS for the first time this week. A warm welcome everyone so helpful & friendly. I haven't done any sewing for quite a time so needed some advise, Amanda was great! While I chose some fabric my husband sorted out a card of elastic that had got in a tangle! I will certainly be visiting you again.Super shop.

Absolutely fantastic staff, very friendly and made me feel at home, even a drink was offered. I was given a lovely tour of the shop and shown the website. What a lovely store it is packed with amazing fabric and everything you need for your hobby of sewing, knitting and crocheting.Can't wait to visit again.
