Good selection, especially mushrooms, capers and basil

I am so impressed with the variety of produce for the size of this shop! The fresh fruit and vegetable selection outside is really good and the inside is full of niche ingredients too. Would definitely recommend!

This place is great, some other reviews might not be complimentary as it's a bit rough round the edges, but great selection of fruit and veg, spices, huge variety of middle Eastern products. Very friendly staff too! Also sell great Christmas trees at Xmas.Support local business - these guys are great.

Unhygienic and out of date products!!I bought a KIND" bar 2 days ago

Went in today to purchase a yellow courgette. The said item was quite large but I did expect it to be under £1 and although I rarely carry cash I did have £1 in my purse. Bit surprised to be told it was £1.55. As I didn’t have that much in cash I got my card out. The employee re- weighed the item and told me £2.00 on card. I politely declined. He then said it’s ok take it at £1.55. I did want the item and paid it. I didn’t see a sign saying card transactions under a certain amount attract a fee and the employee didn’t say that. I can only assume they regularly overcharge customers. Possibly yellow courgettes are slightly more expensive but even so still overpriced. My recommendation? Give this business a miss. I’ll be sticking with Unicorn Grocery when I want an unusual vegetable.
