Nice small site. Meadow camping area with hideaway pitches in the grass/wildflower area. Facilities are good and clean but no hot water, so have to boil water to wash and wash up. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the porridge, as it wasn't offered whilst we were staying there. One downside, lots of do's and don't notices which seemed a bit over the top.

Quiet, clean, friendly, lovely rolling hills, cooked breakfast brought to your tent. Best campsite we've been to and we've been to alot.

Just back from a peaceful 2 nights camping at Ythan Valley campsite. Libby made us lovely bread for breakfast and delivered it to our tent in the pouring rain (twice as we slept in). It’s a very well cared for site and the scenery / peace is rejuvenating.

Very accommodating and simple. Well priced. Eco friendly and well thought out. Would recommend. Need to book before you go, though

What a wonderful and memorable campsite this is! Nice and quite, well maintained with a cute little washhouse that resembles the creativity and personality of the amazing host Libby. We also liked the eco and do something good for the poor/unlucky people in this world" with a shelter in a box. Too bad we couldn't stay more than one night. If you're lucky

A lovely place to stay! Very friendly owner and a nice and neat Bathroom with two toilets and a shower. You can choose between a tent spot on the grass or a more wild camp spot" a bit further behind the house. I paid 15£ for one person

Absolute gem of a place! My first time camping and I couldn't have asked for more. From the lovely welcome and advice from Libby on our arrival to the delicious freshly baked bread and baked oat breakfast. Washroom was absolutely spotless and lots of recycling facilities (which I love). We had a hideaway pitch, which was just amazing and made my first camping experience very special. Definitely recommend this site for a peaceful, relaxing trip and will be returning very soon. Well done Libby and family x

First time camping for my two young boys and I don't know if we will ever live up to it again. Absolutely fantastic experience. From the lovely baked oats and bread in the morning to the campfire cookout experience it really was a unique and special experience. We learned about foraging and what you can eat in the wild, how to build a campfire and how to whittle sticks to use for toasting fruit and marshmallows. The toilets and shower are spotless. There were only 2 other families there and that was at capacity so it was nice and quiet in the evenings. We really hope to come back and I can't recommend it enough.

A beautiful campsite, small and perfectly managed. The facilities are lovely, clean and modern. Libby is just the perfect host. Aside from one glamping pod it’s tents only which is a real treat - no ugly motorhomes and caravans here, thank goodness.
