Barr Ellison handled my divorce. I can't recommend Karen Anker highly enough for her professionalism, efficiency and patience in explaining the process and resolving the points of conflict during the negotiations. I was kept fully updated with progress and costs, and I appreciated her realism in advising me the best approach to take within the law and my situation regardless of how difficult it was to hear sometimes.

I cannot recommend and thank Karen Anker enough for all she has done for me over the past stressful year. Her professional, empathetic and calm manner, her practical suggestions which meant that my ex-husband and I could sort some things out between ourselves without legal help thus keeping costs down. I have used Barr Ellison several times, most recently for conveyancing on a house. I was purchasing from overseas during a pandemic, so there was plenty of potential for things to go wrong! However, due to the professional, efficient and friendly service from Helen we were well-informed throughout the process and everything went very smoothly. Barr Ellison may not be the absolute cheapest, but we were very happy with the service we received. We will certainly return to them again when we next need solicitors.

Worst experience I ever had with this company. Karen Anker made my divorce procedure into nightmare. I never received any support from her she never advised me as her client and no support been given what so ever. Besides that she started to communicate with the respondent which lead to total scenario change
