Just Greek Food Dunfermline

Ordered a chicken gyro, a sausage box, and a mixed meat box. Total was about £30. They then added on nearly £4 delivery and 10% tip which I couldn’t remove. This would have been acceptable, however…It was ordered at 1742, estimated delivery given of 1826. Fair enough, that matches what it says in their site.1847 food still not here, over an hour after order, so I call, he confirms my postcode and he tells me “its 2 mins away”. I hang up, we’re 2.6 miles away so I decide to give him 10 mins. At 1858, I call again to be told by a different person that “it’s just left the shop” despite being told it was two mins away ten mins ago. I point this out and am told they apologise. It eventually arrives at 1912, a full 90 mins after order and twice as long as their estimated delivery time.We get the food. The gyro is ok, but the chips in both boxes were as hard as rocks and cold. The meat in the mixed meat box is stone cold, and there is one small flat bread cut into four. Also cold.I don’t mind paying £40 for decent food, but that wasn’t it. It was late, rather than be honest about the delivery, they tell me it’s on the way when it clearly wasn’t and going by the food it had clearly been sitting for ages. Don’t take orders if you can’t fulfill them, and at least be honest about what’s going on. I’m annoyed I’ve not got what I expected but I’ve also been forced to tip them for the privilege.Having ordered from here before, I’m really disappointed in this service. I deliberately ordered direct from their website so as to ensure a local business avoids the just east charges but I’d have been better doing it and comparing through them as I now wouldn’t be £40 out of pocket for a poor quality meal. Really poor.

Amazing and super delicious food. The real Greek experience, one of the best gyro you can have and that is including gyro from back in Greece. I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants awesome food!

I honestly want to rate this place higher but I can't see how they sre charging 5pound delivery when other places are only charging 2 to 3/4pound for the same distance

I have been craving an authentic Greek gyros since I moved back from Canada and no longer have my favorite Greek restaurant around the corner from me. Stopped by after work tonight. This was one of the tastiest gyros I've had in a long time, the pork was melt in your mouth and perfectly seasoned. The baklava was amazing as well, crispy phyllo and perfectly sweet. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu now that I know this is here. Ate it all too quickly to get a photo but I assure you, If you like Greek food this place will definitely hit the spot for you. Price was not bad either. Baklava was a tad expensive @ £3 a slice but you can't place a price on nostalgic indulgence.

We first tried Greek Street food outside a shopping complex in outskirts of Glasgow and can't remember the name. The smell was just amazing and we thought to try it. I had chicken gyro and taste was phenomenal. The meat was soft, juicy and I was given the option to add sauces of choice. I was addicted after that. I didnt know there was a Greek takeaway in Dunfermline so when I found out there was, decided to try it. It was nothing like the ones we have in Glasgow. If you have never had proper Greek food you probably think this one is great. In comparison to other gyros, the meat was much drier, there was hardly any salad, there was tiniest amount of sauce on the wrap and nothing on the meat. The cashier didn't offer any sauces to put on extremely dry wrap. We didn't finish the wrap couse it was hard to chew. My husband said he would never go back there but I don't think it was bad or anything. It was just too dry and meat tough. I will give the place a second chance though because every business can have off days and maybe it was just a bad day for them. On plus side meat was tasty, wrap was fresh and chips were nice and staff were polite.

I never have a problem. I order frequently and the food is always fresh, hot and tasty. On a particular order once, I had friends staying who were particularly picky about their food and just wanted plain chops instead of marinated, with one call to the shop they were able to confirm they would do this without any fuss. Highly recommend

Best Spanikopita I've had outside of Corfu. So flavouful and the pastry was the perfect texture.

Can’t recommend this place enough! Both times I’ve had food from here I’ve never been disappointed.. extremely tasty food, portion sizes are generous, prices are really reasonable and just to top it all of the staff are so friendly!
