Glan Dŵr Mountain Lodge
Location, size, and amount of kitchenware was perfect. This was let down massively by lack of cleaning. At the moment, the property is unloved and has not had any maintenance this year. We had to clean all pots and pans before we used the. The recycling bins were overflowing with burst bags on the ground. There was black mould in many many areas and the house was musty. The majority of windows could not be opened and plantlife had been allowed to grow through the window sill.Overall, size was good but I would expect at least a basic level of cleanliness to be maintained especially post-Covid.

Lovely location and river at the back of the house. The garden and decking is beautiful!However the place is very damp with mold along the walls and the bedrooms and sitting area (even a mushroom in one of the bedrooms growing from the wall) . Many of the windows don't open, which doesnt help with the damp issue.The beds are quite uncomfortable, springs digging in.The plumbing is very noisy when someone uses the any toilet or cold water, the noise can be heard from the bedrooms. It was loud enough to wake people up in the middle of the night.

Lovely place to stay - a great location, beautiful surroundings and good facilities. It's a shame about some of the negative reviews - it's not as spotless as some of the more fancy" rental places

Great location and well appointed. Noisy down stairs look and decking, brilliant as it is, would be better going all the way to the back door. Will definitely come back

Stunning location, very good value accommodation. Lots of cooking gear and fridge space. No freezer.Rest of the place is a bit tired but its warm, dry and perfect for time away in the mountains.

Like the last reviewer, the place is large, spacious and idyllic. Kitchen is well-equipped. The staff running the lodge with whom I dealt are friendly and allowed us early check in which was appreciated. However, the inside of the property is currently experiencing a mould problem which has been reported. Therefore check it's gone before you book. Sofas and mattresses pretty uncomfortable and bed sheets tired but this is budget accomm so can be expected to an extent. If a little TLC was given, sofas and mattresses replaced, this place could be really good.
