Very poor serviceArrived for lunch told it would be a 25 minute wait An hour later a member of staff came over to check our order. We would have left if we hadn't already paid. When the meal eventually arrived it was of poor quality ingredients

Showers, well I failed. The pressure was so low I used half my token waiting to for the dribble to get tepid, no way was I going to risk a hair wash. Said to the staff member who took my 2 pounds and I was told I was the first to complain and clearly incapable of making it work.I'm a qualified engineer, showers I can operate

Has one of best view of any pub/club in Dartmouth and open to non members and they are made very welcome. Family friendly and food available some of the time, one needs to check on their web site.

Nice location and friendly helpful staff. Worth a visit when in Dartmouth. They have a pleasant outdoor seating area on the quay side.

Use this place all the time good food, plenty of activities if you are a member.

Joined for the kayak section which is fantastic. Plenty of kayaks of all sorts, free organised outings but you can also just grab a sit on top and explore the dart when on holiday. Good range of paddle boards too all pumped up and ready to rock. Really fantastic value for money

Arrived in Dartmouth after a hard beat from Plymouth, Told the DYC was a good place for a (much needed) shower.Went in & simply asked if the club was open to be met with a rather grumpy gentleman bemoaning he couldn't be everywhere because of a lack of staff.Ok then? Brought a coffee & sat in the window, enjoying the excellent view. While sipping my coffee Mr.Grumpy answered a call & was abrupt to whomever it was calling.As soon as the regulars arrived he couldn't have been more polite.Paid £2 for a shower - absolute rip off. The cubicle is so small I had to leave my clothing outside. Temperature was ice cold for nearly 2 minutes of the 5 & the pressure was akin to a dribble, absolutely impossible to have a decent shower. Suffering with severe dermatitis showers are vitally important for me. I can honestly say the showers in Arklow which are in a shed are of a far higher quality than these.Having read the previous review I decided to not bring it up with the grumpy barman.Ironically, I am looking for work, I mentioned this to Mr.Grumpy who was apparently desperate for staff. I mentioned I had worked in Pest Control & for a local authority to which his reply was No wonder you can't find work." I unsure why my previous work history should exclude me from being able to work? I can understand why the club cannot get staff if this gentleman is indicative of the treatment people receive.Having sailed to a great many locations around the UK I can say this has been the worst experience I have ever had with a Yacht Club.I'm stuck here for 3 days because of the weather

I rarely ever complain online, but the service here was awful today. The server showed us to a table and then proceeded to blank us for half an hour, serving three or four other tables that came in after us and ignoring our attempts to get her attention. The bar staff inside told us we just needed to wait for her to come, but we gave up in the end and left. Not sure what we did to upset her but it’s a shame as the location is lovely.
