CampiBoats - Thames Houseboats

Fantastic weekend on the Thames. The most luxurious boat we’ve ever been on! Highly recommend

Zoe and Robert greeted us on our arrival.The boat was ready and waiting but their was a issue with one of the engines, this was resolved Fairly quickly. The boat itself is lovely and comfortable.We had the 340 version which was more than adequate for 4 adults.We spent 3 days at 5mph of the Thames and loved every second.A couple of tips, take plenty of water for drink and kettle.Take plenty of food n drinks as there is no supermarkets really handy toward Reading.No toaster or microwave.Will be back its mint.

We set sail at 5pm and by 1pm next day we had no water, and couldn't use toilet. Water had ran out and waste tank full. Told both would last 4 adults 4 days. Zoe then advised us to head to pump station 1 hour further, only to find it had been closed for over a year. A call to Robert confirmed we needed to travel another hour to pump that would be open next morning. We waited 3 hours there, paid £20 to get a tank full of someone else's s*** emptied.On the 6 hour trip back we discovered there was no hot water or gas!! I have given campiboats( Robert) a week to respond to me before I reviewed but no reply. Also be aware of the £500 security deposit you will be ask for on pick up( no mentioned anywhere) and took 4 days to return after many calls. Only 1 positive the boat is lovely and has everything you need if only we had been able to use it.

We hired a campiboat for a girls get together and we had such a great time! The boat was modern and clean, surprisingly spacious and the beds were really comfy. We thoroughly enjoyed cruising along the river with the lovely Oxfordshire scenery. Rob the owner was really helpful, nothing was too much and he was keen to ensure we had a great time. Rob also recommended some lovely restaurants- we particularly liked the Coppa Club!We would definitely use Camiboats again!

We stayed in the Campiboat for New Year. It was warm, spacious, well thought-out and well presented. Excellent attention to detail with leaving Christmas lights and decorations up, as well as a lovely bottle of local wine in the fridge. We really loved it and would definitely come again.

What a fantastic time we had on the river Thames on the CAMPI BOAT!We had everything we needed right there....so well equipped!We took the boat up the river to Benson and found it easy to manoeuvre.The huge glass windows make you feel like your outside even if the weather isn’t great.We have booked another trip already ... can’t wait!

Wonderful weekend on the campiboat - very well equipped, comfortable and easy to drive. Such a pleasure just cruising down one of the most beautiful stretches of the thames, recommend to anyone who is thinking of it! Everyone we dealt with was lovely, just a thoroughly pleasant experience and will be back again! Cheers
