Bought a Hyundai i10 for our son for his first car. Having seen the car we were offered a test drive there and then. Nothing was to much trouble for Carl and Rory. The car looked in great condition for the year, it drove well, the mileage was really low and the price seemed reasonable to, so we thought it was a great purchase. During the checks they do, on a second hand car, they had detected a problem with the clutch and that the liklihood would be it could possibly go within 3/4 months, so they replaced it. Whilst it delayed pick up we very impressed with the honesty and professionalism in that they didn't just let us take it knowing it was going to fail at some point in the near furture which you wouldn't always get from a garage/dealership. The only thing that let's them down is that when trying to contact the dealership, the phones just ring out for a long time sometimes not even picked up. It would make sense to have someone dedicated to answering the phones as it's frustrating for the customer and you could be missing sales to. Overall though very impressed with the service given by Carl and the way in he interacted with our son, genuinely showing an interest and making it personal to him. It was a great experience for our son, purchasing his first car. Thank you!

Sent through an online to book my jeep in for a service, didn’t hear anything for a week so I called. They couldn’t give me a quote or book me in over the phone, I was told I’d get a call back or an email quote the next day. It’s been 2 weeks and still haven’t heard anything so I’ve taken my business elsewhere. 2 stars simply because the lady I spoke to was lovely and polite despite being unable to help.

Absolutely diabolical the service team are the worst I’ve encountered. Especially lauren the ginger one who is awful. My biggest regret is purchasing a Jeep from this garage. I have no sent an official complaint to Jeep directly which I know will help because the salesman begged me to give good feedback so the commission isn’t clawed back!! They’re so quick to push you to buy a new car but as soon as an issue arises they are non existent! Please please save yourself the stress and DO NOT purchase a car from here you’ll most certainly regret it!

I bought a Jeep vehichle from Palmers. The sales and customer service offered by Sebastian (and Luke) was abosultely brilliant and second to none. They were not pushy salesmen but instead took their time to explain the options and prices available. Seb meticulously explained about the features of the car I intended to purchase, stating the different options and specs and arrangeing a test drive.The icing on the cake was that Seb recommended a colour of a car which was not my original option but turned out to be such a beautiful car. Seb and Luke also made the car handover/collection into a special event which I recorded and will rewatch for quiet some time. I have had several neighbours and passers by stop and admire my car in the driveway and I am absoutely pleased with it. All my previous cars in the last 20 years have been BMW's but I am now a Jeep man thanks to Seb, Luke and Palmers Hemel Hampsted.

Unfortunately I have had to edit this review. Before we purchased our car I could not fault the staff here - Seb was really helpful from start to finish and provided very clear communication. It was easy to speak to someone when contacting the branch. However, since we purchased the car our experience has been nothing short of atrocious.The car (72 plate purchased at the start of Feb) has had to go back to the garage a number of times. During one of these visits we were assured work had been completed so made the 1 hour trip over only to find that it hadn't. We were then left to organise the work directly with the provider. Furthermore, we have only been provided with a courtesy car on one occasion. My partner collected this and I arrived home to not only find that it was absolutely filthy on the outside but the inside hadn't been cleaned at all. This in itself may not seem like a issue, however when you have had a number of problems with both the car and the garage, it starts to feel like the huge sum of money you have just paid them is insignificant. It feels like they are only focused on new business rather than looking after customers who have already purchased a vehicle.The impression that I have of this garage is that they do not seriously take responsibility and accountability for their actions and behavior. The apologies we have received are merely lip service that do not feel in any way like they are attempting to improve customer service or rectify any issues in a timely manner.

Laura works in Jeep/Alfa Romeo Service. This Lady is simply BRILLIANT !!! I found her exceptionally professional, helpful and a delight to business with. To be honest I bought my new Jeep at this dealership because of the many years of 5 star service from Laura. Palmers has a very special asset here ! When the sales department, sold me my new car it was not do a good handover. I soon returned full of complaints, and couldn't find the associated salesperson at times. Laura from the Service Department stepped in and turned things around for the good. Nothing was too much trouble for her. I have given Palmers Jeep 5 star rating due to an exceptional Service Department.
