Please do not go anywhere near this restaurant.I went there with my partner on Monday the 15th of April and had a chicken Madras. No sooner had I finished the meal, i started to have pains in my stomach.I went home and woke up at 1am in the morning being violently sick.I was then off work for 2 days due to being so poorly with food poisoning. My partner called the manager of the restaurant to let him know what had happened and he told her that he would call her back within the next couple of days...But never did. After being able to get out of bed, I called him myself and he was rude and obnoxious basically saying to me that I couldn't prove that it was his food that gave me food poisoning.Couldn't believe the lack of customer care by this so called manager.Hope that you all listen, but if you don't, take care when you order anything with chicken on the menu.ThanksPaul

I was staying in Liverpool for a couple of nights with my children and we decided to get an Indian takeaway. It was an absolute lottery on what the food would be like so we just happened to choose the Remora. Well, we were NOT DISAPPOINTED, an absolutely amazing meal was delivered. Would definitely highly recommend!! Only wish it was my local takeaway!!

Excellent food but quite small and bad acoustics! Doesn't serve alcohol but allows you to bring your own. Great except when you can't hear your companions speak due to others in the restaurant deciding it's great to get drunk and laugh and speak as loudly as you can! Not the restaurants fault admittedly but all I'm saying is that if you want a nice meal without your ears ringing then this perhaps isn't the place to go! The food was tasty and a good price so maybe a takeaway would be good? That said the service and staff was excellent and friendly!

Friendly and authentic little restaurant just off the main drag. I judge an Indian restaurant on the quality of their Dal, if you can make lentils taste amazing you know what you're doing. The chef here knows how to cook. Highly recommended. Serves alcohol now too.

This was possibly one of the best curries I've had in Liverpool. The staff are very friendly! Just a note, that they do serve alcohol inside, just in case you were thinking of bringing your own. The lamb off the bone was excellent!

Yummy! Very good curry and nice service. The set up of the place is cool too and very modern (and 'hip' if you like). We should have restricted ourselves to the main dish though and not have ordered starters. That was too much!

What an absolute hidden gem! The food was delicious, and plentiful. Every course was incredibly tasty and we have found our new favourite Indian restaurant. All of the staff were a pleasure. We could not recommend this place more!

We visited for the first time this evening We are a family of 6 and celebrating a birthday of one of our party. I can honestly say it's been a very long time since we had such wonderful Indian cuisine. The service was friendly and so obliging...... We'll be back! Team Bowles

When we first walked in we thought what a lovely place oozing with character. We were given free choice of table but could only sit in centre aisle of tables due to inability to sit by the wall as the tables were too close together and couldn’t pull the chair out to sit down without disturbing fellow diners. We ordered our beers which arrived coldish but not how beers should be. The menu had good choice and we chose a jalfrezi and Bangla as they were the 2 dishes which specified fresh Chilli of which we asked for extra. When the food arrived my dish was wrong so took it away and brought correct dish back in 10 minutes. Fortunately we were able to share the one dish till mine arrived. Neither dish had a single chill and wasn’t very spicy at all. The restaurant was very busy and a party of 10 arrived and sat along side us and the back of their chairs were an arms length from us. Consequently when staff were serving they were virtually sitting on our table. We found it extremely claustrophobic and food average but staff were friendly and attentive. Overall a disappointing experience.
